Physicians Formula has gone green! The brand has recently launched a line of eco-conscious, animal-friendly cosmetics called Organic wear. The packaging is made from (mostly) recycled paper as opposed to plastic, the brushes are goat hair, and every product is free of parabens, chemicals, preservatives, and fragrance. This is great news for those of you with sensitive skin.

Organic wear products are made from internationally certified organic ingredients that have been EcoCert-approved. I've tried several of the items and what I love the most is that they are natural-looking, build-able, and mattifying. I say if you have the option to indulge in something that is good for your skin and good for the environment, then why not make a choice that can help preserve our planet?
I also love the goofy model, who reminds me of Cabbage Head. For the scoop on each of the products, read more.

Oooh mattifying things! I like...
ooh, I love!
I really want to try some of these!
This is great - exactly what the skincare world should be doing. Save our Skin AND our planet!
Another great organic range is Thinkhappy Organic Surge. It's inexpensive and the Let's Face It Gentle Cleanser is full of natural ingredients and really creamy too. I always use it before my DHC cleansing oil if I've been wearing lots of make-up or after going out dancing.
In the UK it's available from John Lewis and at Boots
I love the idea ... but that Leaf Lady is kinda freaking me out
I've never tried Physicians but I'd love to try some of these, especially the bronzing.
I like their stuff too! I have this multi-coloured gold palette and I just love it to death! It's my favorite eyeshadow!
I have been wanting to try these for a while. The recession is causing a recession in my beauty spending fund (so no more bare escentuals for a while), so this just might do the trick.
I've never been a fan of this brand, it always kinda smelled funny to me. Maybe the organic line doesn't have the funky smell.
Bella, I am so happy about the Cabbage Head reference! I just bought tickets to see the Kids in the Hall on 4/30!
Bella, have you tried the tinted moisturizer in this line? I'm looking for a new one.
None of this stuff appeals to me at all. I dont eat organic food, why the heck would I care if my makeup is organic?
The concealor is amazing. But a word of warning, it does have a very strange smell that can be somewhat offputting. Hold your nose while applying.
I've been wanting to try this line. I hope that they are going to have enough coverage for me.
I wish Physicians had shades for darker skin tones...
I love this brand...I will definitely have to try the eco line. I feel bad for not using more eco-friendly beauty products.
I should check this out.
I am glad to see some eco-friendly packaging! Mac recycles all their plastic containers for you, but this is one step up from that. One question, do they test on animals?
i want to try the powders, but I'm not sure if they are good are not....are they super mattifying?
I really like this line!
I bought one of the blushes and some face powder pretty much the day it came out! I'm trying to use only natural and/or organic beauty products and I was thrilled to see this line at CVS!
Snowbunny, totally vegan and not tested on animals!
Yay, thanks! Obviously Mac is an expensive habit for a law student to have, so it's nice to find some drugstore options too. I feel like everything else in the drugstore is tested on animals!
I love this - I saw it in the drugstore the other day, but didn't have time to stop and check them out. I'll have to look into that mineral finishing veil - anything that helps mattify makes me happy. I go through my oil absorbing papers too quickly.
I've been using the concealer and tinted moisturizer from this line; I love them both. They smell like tea tree oil (which I don't really like), but somehow it's appealing. I'd strongly recommend these products.
i posted a review on this in beauty product junkies, it's kinda old but if u wanna check it out... here's the link
