Trend Alert: Bold, Bright Eyeshadows
Nothing makes an outfit pop like a splash of color, and the designers showing at this year's fall Fashion Week in New York are taking that to the extreme. By using bright, exotic colors on the eyes, they're keeping the otherwise subtle, muted collections fresh and fun. Check out a rundown of the daring looks in my slideshow!

I love the Oscar one and a few others. There were some that made me cringe though.
3Now this I love! And I love that the makeup artist was able to give the girl pink eyeshadow without making her look like she has pinkeye. That's tough.
4love the color! monique l. though, was a bit heavy even for the runway. it looked messy.
5I like purple eyeshadow, with a bit of white to highlight it...Very cool! =]

I've always been a fan of bright shadow.
8I would wear some toned-down versions of these looks as I tend to favour colour quite often anyway, but some of these looks were just not looking too hot at all.
9Pretty... fun for special occasions!
10Most of these are far-out... not really something I'll be doing!
11This model, Bruna, is by far my favorite this season. She's so gorgeous, and her nose isn't "perfect" — it's a little wonky, and it totally makes her face fascinating.
12I love this look too. I'd definitely try out a pink.
