I've got a really important challenge for everyone this week. I recently ran out of my eye makeup remover, and I am desperate for a new one. I've been using my longtime favorite, Lancome Bi-Facil, but I am ready for a change. My requirements are that it must remove every last smudge of mascara and liquid liner, but that it is gentle on my sensitive eyes and not require too much tugging or rubbing to be effective. I'm not partial to oil, water, gel or cream-based removers, as long as it works! So, I'm turning the decision-making process over to you, and I can't wait to share your favorites next Tuesday.

Yves Rocher's remover is amazing.
1Yay! I have been wanting a new eye makeup remover! I can't wait to see what everyone finds.
2I've always loved Clinique's Take the Day Off remover.
Lately, I've been using Neutrogena Oil-Free Remover, it's amazing! It works more efficiently and quickly than anything I've tried. And only cost $6.
3Shu Uemura cleansing oils. Takes off everything.
4DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is the best.
5Here is my trick - and it removes the HEAVIEST of eye make up...and is super cheap...All you need is Vaseline and Cotton Pads..
Smear a generous amount of vaseline ALL over your eye area (no need to rub)...run warm water over the cotton pads...squeeze out the moisture...hold the pads over your eyes and gently wipe the vaseline off...use extra pads as necessary...
There is NO stinging...no rubbing...takes of the stubbornest make up...and leaves your eye area moist - not dried out...
6I TOTALLY agree with emalove!
I LOVE my clinique take the day off dual phase remover!!!!
I also have a backup Neutrogena Oil-Free Remover that I keep at my boyfriends for when I stay over. Its dual phase too but it requires slightly more rubbing. BUT it also doesn't leave that oily residue afterward so your eye area is nice and fresh feeling.
7I use Almay non-oily eye makeup remover pads - love em and they are cheap
8i forgot to mention that i'm a pretty heavy eye makeup applier (my eyes are my best facial feature) so both of my suggestions are tested and true!
9plain baby oil... it doesn't irritate my eyes and it takes of even waterproof mascara or eyeliner without having to rub or pull at all.
10Here is mine - Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes.
11DHC DEEP CLEANSING OIL!!!!!!!
ok, i'm not going through all that mark it stuff just for this. but check this product out. it is THE BEST!!! it's an oil & i know that sounds scary, but it washes off w/ water! i have oily skin & it worked great for me. plus, you get free samples like mad. so try it out. it smells nice too, but not like chemicals or perfume. it smells like an herb garden.

to try it & get free samples, i think you have to pay $2. i don't know why. i did it & i've already received coupons & a total of 12 samples. it's worth it.
regular olive oil, baby oil, or vaseline works, but it's harder to get off when you're done. that's why i prefer this.
12ooh, I definitely need a new makeup remover too ... I've been using bliss' lid+lash wash, which I was suckered into buying from one of the SAs at Sephora and it works okay, oil-free, but it doesn't take off all the mascara and then I spend what seems like an hour scrubbing away at my lashes. Ugh. Can't wait to see what others suggest
13I would go with an oil that's easy on the sensitive eyes, but takes off waterproof makeup. Jojoba, or vitamin E oils...I don't know about vaseline, I imagine it would make your eyes stick together or possibly cause an eye infection.
Goodluck! I always hear good things about Almay's
remover pads. They are found almost anywhere, and definately keep eyes clear.
14The Body Shop's Chamomile Eye makeup remover. I use it to take everything off. All you have to do is soak a cotton ball, wipe it over the mascara and it comes right off. Amazing.
15Clinique Take The Day Off.
16The Body Shop Chamomile waterproof eye makeup remover
17I'll need new makeup remover soon. I'll probably take msgolitelee and genabobena's suggestion because The Body Shop does NOT test on animals.
18I really like Shiseido The Skincare Instant Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. One of the best out there, but not a lot of people know about it.
19Mary Kay!
20I will stick with the Lancome Bi-facil. I have tried alot of eye make up removers and I think that this is one of the best on the market. Removes everything with one swipe and leaves the skin around my eyes sooo soft
21Caudalie Cleansing Water ..... purely amazing. i will never use anything else.
22I just know that you SHOULDN"T try sephora's oil free face makeup remover. It dries my skin and makes it flaky and irritated.
23Urban Decay, Clean & Sober Oil-Free Makeup Remover
It's a cooling gel, light purple, pretty bottle, removes makeup, gentle, and has a relaxing lavender scent! The only one I've seen as a gel, and it comes with a LOT of product.

24Shu Uemura cleansing oil! The tea tree one is great! http://www.shuuemura-usa.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?CategoryID=328...
25I loved Clinque's take off the day!... It gets lids, lashes, and lips. It will remove the toughest makeup. Waterproof smaterprood! This stuff is great!
26I just got some of the Bi-facil stuff as a deluxe sephora sample. I can't wait to try it!
27My sis and I have been using the Nivea makeup remover for ages because it's so gentle on the eyes and it works really well!
28Lancome's Bi-Facil is my all time favorite.
29Burt's Bee's Apricot Oil on a cotton wool pad. Followed by Cetaphil and water. Simple, effective, non-irritating.
I did like Lancome's Bi-Facil, but I like to keep multi-purpose products only (as much as possible, anyway) and I can use the Apricot Oil on my legs as well.
30Body Shop Chamomille waterproof eye makeup remover is great!! Does a fantastic job, in just one little swipe! Also doesnt sting, not oily, etc. Perfect!
31I've been sticking with Neutrogena's oil free lately...
32My fav is Neutrogena oil free eye make-up remover.
33I use Maybelline oil-free make-up remover, its really gentle. Or I use Almay oil-free pads.
34I am with gigill. I have been using Nivea eye makeup remover for many years -- I like it a lot and it's dirty cheap. I also use sometimes the La Roche-Posay Toleriane demaquillant yeux ampoules - it's effective, very gentle and perfect for travel.
35I also believe that the best way is to use Q-tips - especially for the eyelashes and the surrounding area. It's the only way to get off all the mascara and, what's more, I use much less product.
Same boat!! May last love has been Red Water's chamomile Eye Make-Up Remover. It's a Greek line based on "Red Thermal Spring Water.."
36They also have a Hydra Demake-up Emulsion with night flower. A bit pricey ($20-30ish), but you can get them on bogo 1/2 off, only carried at Walgreen's. I chose this line because it's closest to organic/natural ingred's than many others. I'm considering Weleda's Almond Facial Oil. Am curious of other organic lines too. --All I can say, is, RedWater is gentle so you won't lose eyelashes or have fried eyeballs!
I highly recommend reading ingredient labels as, between your skin and tear ducts, you do absorb chemicals into your body. If you can't interpret the label and the attractive key (and readable) ingredients aren't within the first 3 ingredients, you probably don't want it on your face. We take for granted that what's being sold is safe.
37The Almay oil-free pads are the best!!
38Actually, I've also used the all calm creamy cleanser from Good Skin's line (Kohl's, $15) with good overall eye/skin cleansing. --But that's not on your list either, and I've yet to master Mark It's! Great for sensitive skin and redness, keeps skin balanced.
39I also love the Lancome Bi-Facil, but sometimes I'll use Neutrogena oil free remover...it works okay.
40this hurt my eyes.
41I definitely am in the same situation as you Bella, so this will be helpful. I've got a few suggestions though.
42MakeUp ForEver Dry Oil is pricey but takes everything off! MAC has an oil cleanser too. I've tried it at the counter but not purchased it yet - I'm waiting until I've finished the MUFE oil. But will any other cleansers - I always have to use Qtips under my eyes to get the last bit of mascara residue. These dry oils I don't.
43Mary Kay Oil-Free makeup remover is great. It takes off waterproof mascara very easily.
44I used to use Mary Kay Oil-Free make up remover also but i never lasted me as long as i wanted it to and it wouln't leave my eyes make up free.... So i decided to use baby oil! Trust me it works like magic; its super cheap, smells good and it takes off EVERYTHING!! AND it's lasted wayyy longer
