The British Academy Film Awards—England's version of the Oscars—took place in London tonight. Most of the women arrived red-carpet ready in standard long gowns, decadent jewels and bold makeup. Hairstyles, however, were a little bit more creative. Jessica Biel, Thandie Newton and Sienna Miller all had their hair pushed to one side. Whose "side" do you take in this hair poll?

Jessica Biel looks strange with this shade of blonde. The color is gorgeous and Jessica is gorgeous but the two together don't look right. Maybe I'm just used to seeing her as a light brunette. Is she trying to look like Scarlet Johansen

14I say Thandie, but I'll give Sienna snaps for trying a modern look. Jessica has a nice updo, but her hair color is too distracting for me.

I don't think Jessica is pretty at all. And that hair color is bad on her.
Thandie seems to have grown into a big glamourous star and this look reflects that maturity and style. Loved it. Might try it out myself one of these days!
