Last year, MAC released a Barbie-themed makeup collection. It's been out of stores since last spring, but a few pieces are available on eBay [1].

But before the MAC collaboration, Barbie had her own line of cosmetics for little girls. Believe it or not, I had no interest in playing with the color cosmetics, but I remember that vial of Barbie "perfume" well. It was mostly water, but I felt very grown-up whenever I splashed it on.

So check out this early-'80s clip. Apparently, playing with toy cosmetics makes young Erin Fetherston [2] lookalikes talk like Upper East Side dowagers. And don't blame me if the jingle gets stuck in your head.
