Smoky eyes are the go-to choice of celebrities these days, as model Jodie Kidd shows at last night's Elle Style Awards. Her eyeliner is intense, but is it too much? I think toning down the makeup would let us focus on her beautiful eyes, not just on what's adorning them. And with such a sexy, wild hairstyle, the simpler route might have been more balanced. What do you think? Too much, just right, or not enough?

She looks nice.
1I don't know...it's okay.
2her eyes are too wide for that look
3smthin not right abt this look...
4I don't know; I think she just looks a mess, a la Tammy Faye Baker.
5I agree with Bella, simpler eyes would have worked better with the wild hair. Also she has so much eyeliner on it's making her eyes look wonky.
6no...def. not. It's just too much!
7I don't like it!
8she looks old!
9I don't wanna be mean here, but she's just an ugly woman...
10
almost famous!
11LOL @ Shop
I mean hey sometimes the turth hurts.
Make up doesn't ALWAYS come to the rescue.
I've had the chance to meet some women whom
thought they were invisible and could pull off
any make up.
Wrong, wrong, dead wrong!
12I don't know who this lady is so I can't compare this to how she usually looks, but I just think this look ages her. Such heavy eye makeup really doesn't work on everyone, especially past a certain age. This reminds me of the way Mary-Kate Olsen often does her hair and makeup, but she actually pulls it off well.
13I agree, Swen.
I don't know if it's the eye makeup or not, but she looks old.
14I love eye makeup.
15I wouldnt do this to myself...
16Initial reaction: "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" She looks like she's pushing 50. I know what it is. A bad 80's look! It's very muddy here. Too much lower-lash eyeliner, too much blush, and too much sugar on the lips. The eyes are too formal for the look. Otherwise, she needs to punch up the lips. --What's with the makeup this year?!? A model should be able to go without makeup and still be beautiful, no?
17And the hair is over-streaked too...She needs to learn the K.I.S.S. method!
18It's not the right look for her.
19I've never liked very heavy, dark eye makeup on blondes. It always looks trashy to me. And she's gone way downhill since her modeling days in the 90s...
20her hair bugs me. and the way she's pursing her lips is making her cheeks puff up funny.
21Eyeliner like that just never works on girls with light hair.
22Blah. She should fire her glam squad immediately!
23WHO is she?
24emo_stacer, she was a not-quite-supermodel back in the 90s, right around the time of the neo-waifs like Shalom Harlow, Kirsty Hume, and Amber Valletta. She was super, super, super thin and tall, so she fit right in with that look.
I think she might be an equestrienne too, and/or some kind of British nobility, but I'm not sure on that.
25she looks like she's hooking it.
26She looks hungover
27According to Wiki, she's not even 30. Her eye makeup is not the real issue here.
28I am suprised she is still alve. Anyone remember teh pics of her when she was in the throes of sever anorexia? Good to see she is looking better
29Beautiful woman, horrible makeup.
30it looks messy, yet overdone and caky.
31Dislike
32i don't care much for it. i used to think that she was really pretty - but in that picture she just looks tired and worn out - i don't know if it's the picture or what...but the eye liner does not help.
33lol at almostyfamous, that's exactly what I was going to say, she's just ugly (IMO)
34The makeup alone is not bad. It just doesn't look good on her. And yes, she looks very old.
35she used to be beautiful, what happen to her?
36Something tells me she looks like one of the Olsen twins..
37i can see what she's going for witht he hair and it looks okayish but...
38whats up with her eye make-up?!
39Hair good, make up bad...
40She could have eased up on the eyeliner a little. I think a limited use of the eyeliner would give her a cleaner healthier look ......
41She doesn't look bad though
