Charlize Theron hit the Meteor Irish Music Awards yesterday, and like so many other stars these days, she went with a creamy red lip. What sets Charlize apart is her ability to modernize this classic shade. Whereas Christina Aguilera loves the Old Hollywood glamour, Charlize keeps things contemporary by leaving her hair straight and sleek. What do you think of this look on her?

I see I'm in the minority here...I just don't think the colour suit her. It just seems a little off.

5I don't hate it, but for some reason I'm not feeling the red... it's just a bit strange on her. Too harsh, I think.

12This isn't a good enough picture because there were better ones taken of her here but Charlize is the only blonde that can pull off the red lipstick look without looking like a clown or looking like she's trying too hard to be Marilyn Monroe. The others like Christina Aguilera and Scarlett Johansson are POSEURS Charlize can wear dramatic make up or natural makeup and still look like she stepped out of a 40s picture.

19Oh i just love the lipstick she is one of the few who can wear it whitout being too-much , she is simply stunning i like this very clear brown on her eyes.
