It's no secret: clean, fresh-looking skin is in for Spring. That means it's almost time to toss out heavy Winter foundations in favor of something with a lighter coverage. Tinted moisturizers even out your skin tone while allowing its texture to show. I've been curious about this Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer ever since I found out that it's a pop star's favorite.

Yay tinted moisturizer! I'm a big fan of the Bobbi Brown SPF 15 one, absolutely addicted to the stuff...
You have heard my cry Bella! Please somebody recommend something for slightly sun damaged, pale, combo skin - I NEED something to even me out without looking like a mask!
Ive been looking for a tinted moisturizer but theres so many I have no clue which one is right for me.
My favorite is Laura Mercier (the regular, not oil free - I like the moisture). I have tried DuWop Revolution. I liked it but it separated on me - and I used it every day so it's not like I had it for a long time. I've heard that Clinique Supermoist makeup is great.
I'm off to bookmark my Stila tinted moisturizer. That is by far the best that I've tried.
I love the Laura Mercier. I tried the oil-free one and switched to the regular one since for some reason the oil-free seemed... heavy? It felt strange on my skin. I have pretty oily skin so I figured I'd like the oil-free but the regular actually works just fine and has a better consistency going on my skin.
i just bought Benefit You Rebel Light. I really like the light coverage but not to keen on the scent or that my skin feels a little oily near the end of the day. maybe when this tube is done i'll try the laura mercier one.
I don't know so much in this department...
This is good stuff!
I'm on it!
This is all I use in the foundation department...Elizabeth Arden and Stila are my favorites.
Laura Mercier is the best. This is my favorite product by far.
I beauty marked the new Physicians Formula Organic Wear tinted moisturizer, which I think is fab for coverage and texture. I also like Stila's Illuminating tinted moisturizer. I've tried Laura Mercier's and I'm not impressed with the finish, feel, or coverage. Sephora's is very nice if you like a silicone base (I don't like the feel, personally). I've used Bobbi Brown's Extra tinted moisturizer, and while I like the texture, I find the coverage is lacking, and the price is outrageous. I'm very fair and very dry and I always use a separate moisturizer under any makeup, so I can't comment on the moisturizing properties of these.
My fave is Fresh High Noon... it makes my skin look like I am standing in a Jamaica sun set.
... and it smells like cucumber!!
BalmShelter!
this is the best! i love love love it. protection, moisturizing, coverage. its all there.
I've never used this product but I have used their primer and it gave me a rash on my face! Even the lady behind the counter told me it did that to her!
Bobbi Brown is creamy, coverage is limited. Stila ia the one i usually use. I'll try Laura Mercier when current supply is out.
I forgot - Stila's Illuminating one (I think it's exclusive to Sephora) is great and the Illuminating concealer is the best.
I use Stila's light tinted & illuminating tinted moisturizer.
i've tried Philosophy's "Give me Shelter," but wasn't a big fan.
I just purchased my first tube of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer last week. So far it's alright. It takes a couple coats to cover the redness around my nose.
In the warmer months or for everyday, I use the regular Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer applied on top of her oil-free primer.
amybdk - For redness trouble spots (I have roseacea) I mix a tiny bit of Fresh Absolute Concealer with my LMTM and I apply with a brush. I also recommend the primer to help combat redness and for staying power throughout the day.
A great primer for redness is the Smashbox PhotoFinish Color Correcting formula.
The first tinted moisturizer I tried was Burt's Bees and I loved it. I am so sensitive, but this didn't make my face itch at all. Of course, this was before I knew about any of these fancier brands (the only other tint I knew was from Neutrogena), so I will def take a look.
I really like Dermalogica's "sheer tint moisture". It has spf 15 and is a light moisturizer with a decent amount of coverage - wonderful all-in-one product that won't irritate your skin (I have nightmare skin and it works for me!).
My daughter-in-law swears buy Laura M. tinted moisturizer
I have been on the lookout for one recently hopefully everyone can recommend a good one.
love the laura mercier awesome
I combine the Clinique Uplighter in Bronze and the Dramatically Different moisturizer to make my own tinted moisturizer. It looks absolutely fab on my skin!
