After my last drugstore shampoo debacle, I was nervous about trying the Christophe Purely Natural Daily Shampoo and Purely Natural Conditioner ($5.99 each). Fortunately, I had nothing to worry about—these are both fantastic. The shampoo cleans without drying hair, and the conditioner is awesome. It left my hair soft, smooth, and completely free of weight or residue. And while it might just be a coincidence, I let my hair dry naturally today, yet it has fantastic movement and shine.
Lest you think I am overly enthusiastic, let me relay a story: This weekend, my beau used the shampoo and conditioner. I forgot about it until he e-mailed me. Like that new Cristophe shampoo, he wrote. After I replied to say how happy I am that it's affordable, he replied, Wow. I was convinced that shampoo was like $30.00 or something.
So, don't just trust me. Trust a dude who rarely gets excited about shampoo.

6I really like the Cristophe line, though I've never tried the Purely Natural. Is the Purely Natural line significantly cheaper than the rest, or does my CVS just completely rip me off? The other shampoos/conditioners are $12.99 each at my CVS.

13I tried the Cristophe purely natural line and did not like it. I wanted to try an inexpensive product that was free of sulfates and parabens. I have slightly wavy hair of normal thickness, and I wash and blow dry it every day. Right after washing with Cristophe purely natural daily shampoo and conditioner, my hair felt really soft and lighter than normal. However, by the end of the day, my hair was a tangled mess and looked greasy - the texture was just strange. I recommend the David Babaii for WildAid line instead, which is also sulfate and paraben free. All of the products are amazing and they are available at Duane Reade/Walgreens, Target, hsn.com, amazon.com, drugstore.com, etc. (whereas Cristophe is only available at CVS). Also, 10% of the proceeds are donated to WildAid.
14The best shampoo ever! My hair is tick and tends to freeze.. and with the humidity of South Fla this shampoo has done wonders for me. I just wash, towel dry and voila.. (of course a good haircut helps too)
