In late December, I mentioned that Justin Timberlake was likely to front his own fragrance. Now it's confirmed. WWD reports that Parfums Givenchy has tapped JT to be the face of a men's fragrance later this year. "Beyond his immense international notoriety, we chose Justin Timberlake because he's a true trendsetter who has redefined modern elegance,” said Alain Lorenzo, Parfums Givenchy’s president.
More details are coming out in the next few days, but it doesn't seem like Justin is getting his own fragrance like his ex Britney. Instead, it'll be a fragrance endorsement deal, so get ready to see lots of Justin doing his thing in print ads and commercials. Even though some people think he stinks, my guess is that Givenchy will soon be singing the praises of JT for his ability to sell fragrance.
