I applaud Tilda Swinton for shying away from the conventional glammed-up Oscar look in favor of a virtually bare face. With her flawless skin she can get away with it, and her lack of eye makeup makes her green eyes glow. What do you think of this look for the Oscars? Does she pull it off?

Scary.

her face is shiny
I have the heebie jeebies.
Dunno. She kinda pull it off, but it's Oscar night, so a bit of rimmel wouldn't have hurt!
It's the Oscars you're supposed to be glamorous.
She looks shrink-wrapped, somehow...
CREEPY!
But I totally think she's great!
Bella.... in my humble opinion... eye makeup would have been good...
It's her thing, leave her alone.
Love it! She's so true to herself. She's fabulous.
ewwwwwww
I am not sure what would make this look right. I don't mind a natural look, but I am just not sure...
I sound horrible sitting here on my couch with no makeup on and in sweats!
I simply adore her!!! She's looks her usual unusually beautiful self!!! I think she's stunning!!!
what make up?
what was she thinking!!!?
The hair just kills it.
she completely creeped me out and I think she looks kind of manly.
she is so scary.

that's just how she is and i rarely see her with makeup.
she does her own thing, kudos to her
I think is refreshing. Hate me for it, i love her androgynous style. I'm not too sure about the dress though.
Gorgeous, but I still wish she had just a little mascara...
I guess its her, but not very oscar appropriate, could use a little dazzle.
Well, I give her credit for doing her thing, atleast she's very true to herself. But, not a fan of her look, too understated.
She looks greasy/shiny and very old.
She's pretty most of the time, but she really could use a bit of eyeliner here, or a sort of glossy lip; something. Anything! She does come off as a bit masculine, unfortunately.
She scares me...
she's a great actress.
she actually looks like an alien :s
very nature
i like her look
I don't know who she is, though she does look vaguely familiar. But when I first saw this picture, I thought I was looking at a man.
The only time I haven't seen her looking androgynous was in Micheal Clayton. A little makeup would have gone a long way here.
She looks like this all the freakin time. Did anyone hear her commnet about George Clooney? It was funnyyyyy.
hate it, sadly. although she was very good in The Beach
She gives me major creeps...
She does look a bit frightening. Makeup could do SO much for her. Just a little bit. It really wouldn't hurt.
Sorry, but she looks like Gollum from Lord of the Rings.
i think she rocks in her androgynous risky style. she definitely gets my vote for fierce.
i'm not too keen on the makeup but everyone has the right to choose what makeup to wear!! ( or not to, in this case)
i figured she was dressing for the lesbian viewers
I understand she doesnt like makeup and stuff but she didnt have to put a whole bottle of moisturizer and too greasy foundation. It would of be nice otherwise. Although I prefer some color
I love that she went natural instead of playing into the glam thing.
God she needs some color.
Well its her choice to go without makeup on.There are some women who choose to not wear makeup. But she is kind of creepy looking.
The slicked back hair, no make-up are a great look...for the BEACH! For a black-tie awards affair -- and where you are a NOMINEE? I'm sorry, but, to me that's just sacrilege. It's like showing up in jeans and a t-shirt. Even notoriously glamor-eschewing Jodie Foster always looks gorgeously dressed and made-up at the Oscars. No excuse for this.
haha gollum from Lord of the rings thats funny!!! she looks terrible her face, hair, make up and dress I hate her since that movie of Leo di Caprio dont remember the name......
