Only one way??!!? Ha! I've been known to do all of the above, except winged... sometimes all at the same time. Generally, I suppose, I tend to use powder for a softer line on the upper lid, though occasionally I go for a gel line. I also wear pencil liner on the inner rims (upper and lower), and smudge a bit on the outer lower lashline.

bailaorgaditana i am the same. i usually wear powder line on the upper lid but when i want to spice things up i'll do the lower too. and line the inside upper lid with badgal liner. or if i want more drama i go for the old sixties style liquid liner on the upper lid. all depends on my mood and where i am going.

I wear shadow lined on my upper lids typically. Otherwise, I look way too wild for where I usually go.

I very rarely wear eyeliner and if I do it's on the bottom smudged for that smokey look.

Back in high school I used to wear it on my inner eyelid, but I always ended up looking like a raccoon. Now, I usually just line my upper lid above my lash line. It's pretty subtle but I'm too afraid to try anything else!

I line my upper. I've tried both and my eyes look too small. If I wear none, I think I look sleepy. Maybe I'm too used to wearing it that if I don't have it, I don't like like myself.

Whatever I feel like that day. Also depending on the occasion. I tend to go with a more natural look during the day, no lining the inside rim of my eye, it looks too drastic at playgroups.

I line my uppper eyes every day...I love eyeliner. It's probably one of my favorite cosmetics! I do a thicker, more winged-looking line for evening.

I very rarely line the bottom, unless I'm getting done up for evening and want a smokey eye. Otherwise, I think lining the bottom closes in the eye too much.

I don't line the top because my mascara makes my eyelashes too thick and full to see a line on top. I use an eyeshadow brush to line my lower lashes with the same eyeshadow I used. The results are a subtle smokey look!

I usually use liquid eyeliner, and make a very Parisian-type of wing or cat eye, only on my top lids.
If I did it all around my eyes, my oily eyelids would melt the makeup off in an instant.

I love eyeliner its the only eye makeup i wear on a daily basis, I usually don't even wear mascara. I either do a line on top of my lid and smudge it out or a line on my waterline, or both.

I use a fine line on my upper lid everyday with a pencil like MAC Stubborn Brown or Urban Decay in Bourbon. If I don't my lashes look puny and my face looks washed out. Sometimes in the evening I'll line the lower lid also - it instantly makes the look more dramatic. I love the look of just lining the lower lid - but it looks weird on my eyes. I really don't experiment with liquid liner. Perhaps I will someday. I've been loving Kim Raver's eyeliner on Lipstick Jungle. My eyes look nothing like hers, I just find my self staring at her perfect eyeliner in envy!!!

I always wear a thin line of liquid liner on my upper lashes, just to make my lashes look thicker. I never wear eyeliner on my lower lashes (I'm pale and tend to look like a hooker) unless it's gold or white.

Usually just a medium line all across the top and 1/3 of the way on the bottom.

For the day a thin line right on my upper lash line to make them look thicker along with mascara. And at night I do both, still a thin line tho. I'm pale and when it smudges or flakes I tend to get intense raccoon eye.

On the inner rim of my eyes, i've tried to do it up top but too hard.

I used to like doing the inner rims, but I'm concerned about infections or irritation. I've heard mixed reports on your risk of either, but prefer to play it safe.

If I wear eyeliner, it's usually just on top (pencil, gel or liquid - in that order of preference). Sometimes I smudge it along the bottom if I want a smokey eye.

I have tried it on my waterline (inner rim) but my eyes water and it bothers me. I know a lot of people do the waterline, but it just doesn't feel good or safe to me. Thus, I don't tightline either (upper waterline)

My day to day consists of upper only with Bobbi's gel liner. For a softer look I might use Laura Mercier kohl pencils instead but I just love the look of a defined liner. I love Angie's look but couldn't pull it off every day. Lower comes into play when I want a smokier look.

Ahh..I forgot about tightline. I haven't done it in a while but I love that look.. tightline and thin line above that on upper lids. I think it really opens up the eye and makes the eyes pop.

I LOVE eyeliner. I alternate depending on what I'm wearing and what time of the day it is, and what kind of mood I'm in. If I'm feeling blah, I line the waterline and add a little mascara. Feeling daring, I like the top(add a little wing but with kohl liner) and then the waterline also.

I line the top and bottom. Top above my lash line and lower inside the lash line, and I do both about 3/4 of the way across my eye from the outer corners.

Depends on the look Im trying to accomplish. I usually just go with the upper lash line. Sometimes I'll line the outer corners for a cat eye look. When I use liquid liner I always wing it out. I rarely line the bottom because it closes off my eyes. I use shadow on the bottom instead

I love makeup and playing with it,so I do different styles all the time.

It's both the inner lid and the top lash line for me.

I just started doing the inner rims only, it tickled way to much at firt. I was scared I would get an eye infection or some other hassle from it, but so far it's good. I clean my eyeliner before and after each use.

I'm always different - depends on the occasion and my mood. I'm a BE girl (among other lines, love makeup) but smashbox makes a gel liner especially for the inner rim called Jet Set and it's the bomb. It stays pretty much all day, I do reapply for night, and it never irritates my eyes. I love it.

you know, i'd love to wear it.. but i dont know how... umm.. to apply it. kind of embarrassed. I jsut do Stila mascara.

I usually just line my upper lid, and if I do line my bottom lid it's with white liner to make my eyes look bigger.

I can never get eyeliner to come out even, so I don't bother. I do a "line" of dark powder right at my upper lashes.

under the lower lash line for me...i can't ever seem to get the look right on the upper lids.

i do all of the above all at the same time i truely adore eyeliner especially black eyeliner. My eyes are super dark and look black that is untill i use the black eyeliner which shows my eyes are dark brown.

I recently started playing around with the winged look. I keep it sort of subtle... nothing like Amy Winehouse at all! Fom a distance and in photos it looks pretty and makes your eyes really stand out. And I make sure it's not too much up close. Funny, I never thought I would've liked it, but now I'm glad that I gave it a shot.

I only line the upper lash line. It gives the subtle sexy look that I like.

I usually only wear it on my top lid.

I used to, and most lil high school kids I know do a heavy lower line, but I feel like it closes off the eye and I don't like it as much unless I'm going for something drastic.
