Uh-oh. Lauren here is a little verklempt. I think this aspiring model may be concerned that we don't know that she's a punk rocker. Maybe she should discuss that aspect of her life a little more. Because, you know, it's not like she brings it up every chance she gets.

This week's episode had it all: A visit from former winner Jaslene, a runway show, and a photo shoot that turned my vegetarian stomach. Ugh, I'm not even a vegetarian and this totally grossed me out. I think it was the stitched together meat vest that really did me in.
1yea the whole posing with meat as clothing thing was a bit over the top. i actually thought as jay announced what the photo's would be about -- wow they are really reaching here --- maybe they are running out of provocative ideas for photo shoots.
2Yeah, they've run out of ideas for photo shoots. That said, why don't they just do editorials that you would find in Elle or Bazaar? Why the crazy outlandish ideas i.e. homeless people, wearing meat, etc. Just do regular fashion photo shoots and I guarantee it will weed out the bad models quicker.
3I agree with both of you. I was disgusted completely.
4Yes, it's just ridiculous. Why not do something simple, like have the models pose with a chair? That would force the models to be more creative, and it would be cheaper to boot. The meat stuff is just ridiculous, and it's gross. I'm sorry, I would not let meat near my lady parts.
5I can't believe none of the models took a stand against this photo shoot! And Tyra has the nerve to call this show "green" ?! Since when is mass consumption of beef good for the environment?
6i thought that the fact that they made them wear meat and try to take it the extreme will prepare the models for a real modeling career, were they have to do some pretty crazy things, it was gross, yes, but i think it helps weed out the models who aren't fully comitted to the career that they want to pursue.
7ANTM has jumped the shark. They've lost all their creative ideas for photo shoots. Sometimes, I wish they'd just let the girls be pretty instead of doing some freaky-deaky photo shoot that would never happen in real life.
8I'm sorry there is no way I would be putting on meat underware. I don't care if I had undies on under them. I mean who really knows what putting raw meat that close to you could do to all your body chemisty.
9This week's episode was just ridiculous..Since when does wearing large hunks of dead animal flesh equal high fashion?! This was just too over the top and crazy.
