Pretty pastel nail polishes are a fun way to lighten up any warm-weather beauty look. Pale pinks, sage greens, sunny yellows and light lavenders are beautiful shades to complement a special sundress or handbag. (And if you're still stuck with winter, they're a nice way to bring Spring to you early.) The colors come in an array of opaque formulas for you fearless femmes, as well as sheer versions for those of you who are still a little bit gun-shy.
L'Oreal Pro Manicure Nail Polish, Trust Fund Baby ($3.49) is a fun color with a catchy name. The polish is formaldehyde and toluene free — and since it contains pro-keratin proteins, it also strengthens your nails. I think this shade in particular looks best when you apply two coats.
Duri Nail Polish in Pistachio ($3.75) is a light, opaque lime green polish that lasts long, dries quickly, and imparts high shine along with streak-free color.

Essie Looking for Love ($8) is a soft and sweet, medium-hued lavender polish. The color is rich and long-lasting — and considering that Essie polishes are always at the forefront of fashion, you'll be ahead of the game for Spring.

I believe you can still buy the vintage colors of hard candy polish from both sephora and the hard candy website.

14I'm in a major polish rut, that L'Oreal looks like just the thing to break out!
15I LOVE this Loreal polish. It dries quickly, doesn't chip, and comes in some beautiful colors. If you watch the ads carefully, you can catch it buy one get one free at stores like Walgreens and CVS. It's a great bargain. In my opinion, it's as good as OPI.
16For some reason I always think pastel nail polish looks worse when it chips. But I guess maybe this week I could do a pale, pretty color. Thanks for the idea Bella!
17I love pastel colors but I just don't know about the yellow or green- on nails, I feel like it looks fungus-y! I would definitely get a lavender or peach pedicure for the summer, though.
18This Loreal polish is very pretty
19i've had the trust fund baby for a year now and although i love the color, i hate the way it goes on my nail. it doesn't go on evenly unless i have a lot of polish on the brush, and then it'll take a long time to fully dry.
