A certain someone comes to mind when I think about frequent hair color change, and that person is supermodel Linda Evangelista. Take a looky at the photos below because all of that dying and bleaching is from the past couple of years alone!
This long, lean, and stunning beauty has been known to change her hair color with the change of the winds, and she somehow manages to look great each and every time. Are you the kind of person who likes to play around with different hair colors, highlights, and lowlights? If so, about how often do you fiddle with your hair color?

I have red hair, probably my best feature, and so far there hasn't been the need to mess with it.
1I don't really dye my hair much and it's always some type of brown (which is my natural color) so it's never really that different. If it wasn't for the maintenance issue I'd go red but since that would be inconvenient I would like to get my hair a lighter and warmer chocolate brown since my hair just looks like plain dark brown.
2I only get subtle highlights to spruce up my natural blonde color.
3i like my hair color too much to change it
4i used to be much like fellow taur-babe linda evangelista and change my hair color at the drop of the hat. my hair was very auburn for awhile, but i've recently returned to my warm dark brown with red highlights. it makes my eye color pop more and the highlights look sunkissed, a bit more natural.
a great colorist can ensure that your hair is never fried!!
5Not change, but when I get extremely bored with the shade, I will do one shade lighter, which makes a marked difference. I have stopped that and stick to what looks best. My medium auburn!
6Always a shade of brown, which I tend to change seasonally.
7i go from brown to highlights to heavy highlights to a new shade of highlights back to bown and sometimes to a darker borown- every year lol
8I only change it up every 2-3 years.
I'm naturally a brunette, but I hate my shade of brown, so I never, ever intend to wear my natural colour.
I've been blonde (gradual highlighting thru high school)... Then I dyed it a deep chocolate brown, and absolutely loved it... Then I went black for a while... Then a deep red-ish brown... Then black again.. and now I'm going back to blonde highlights. Bit of a pain tho since black hair is EXTREMELY hard to cover, so it'll take me a few sets to get to where I wanna be. But surprisingly, I'm already very light after just two sets of highlights. My hairdresser is great, but it's costing me a small fortune.
I'm not very daring with my hair
I always tend to play it safe, but there's so much I'd like
to do with it, I'm just always scared that I'll hate it.
9I have been known to change it a couple times in a month, a couple times a year... or even a couple times a week. I am not afraid to play with colour. I have also stayed the same colour for a year or two. I do the same with the style. It just depends on how satisfied I am with a look.
I cut my highlighted long layers in to an angled near-platinum bob a couple years ago, then it became popular. Now, it is below my shoulders with blunt bangs, and more Bardot. Who knows what is next?!
10change mine so much, don't even know my natural color! been dying my hair since 7 or 8th grade, and i'm 31 now. i like playing with it, i guess one of these day its gonna fall out....maybe the bald look will be in by then... lol
11i had red highlights put into my medium brown hair for a couple of years, but the last set was too heavy, and it became impossible for me to keep up. i dyed over them with a medium brown shade, and now i'm in hair dye detox as i continue to grow my hair out.
i really liked playing with color, but it was drying out my curly hair. no more, for a long while, at least.
12With the exception of spray bottles of rinse-out red or blue or yellow hair color for team spirit exercises, I don't change my hair color. It's dark brown, with natural highlights, and I happen to like it that way. Dying it would take forever and probably not be very good for it. When/if I start going gray (hopefully not for another 20 years at least), I'll tackle the roots, but that's about it...
13for a long time i wanter to change my hair color but then i realized how much time and effort i would have to put into keeping my roots from showing (i have really dark hair) and i don't think i could've kept coloring it every two weeks or so. besides, now i love my natural hair color.
14i like the last one!.... ergh i dont know last time i change my hair color was on may? is just my natural hair color
but i would really like to have some hightlights!
15I'm natural right now, a light to medium brown, and I love it. But I've been a light blonde, a bright redhead, and even pink! I'm 33 now, so natural seems the way to go, but I've had the same "look" long and natural for a couple of years, so when I'm ready it's going to be for a big change!
16My hair is naturally black, I don't dye it. I used to put highlights in it a couple of years ago. Not my best look, thank goodnes I only kept it up for a few months.
17Usually, the natural darkish brown that is my hair's colour works for me. I'm always creeped that if I try dying it, it will end up either frazzled and damaged, or I simply won't like the end result, but will have to keep with the colour until it grows out. Also, I don't think most hair colours would look good with my skin tone.
18I'm now au natural, but I used to get highlights every 6 months.
19my hair is naturally dark red/auburn, and so I don't want to change it.. I love it. I think everyone would be pretty upset if I went blonde or something lol.
20I usually go a teeny bit lighter over the summer, except for this year. I just didn't feel like changing it!!
21Every six months, sometimes longer. I see people who dye theirs every 2-3 months and their hair looks bad, not healthy. So I think getting it done every 6 months is fine, I get highlights that when grow out it still looks natural and not noticeable at all.
22I went red when I was 17 and I'm 23 now and still haven't switched to another color. I naturally have dark brown hair but the auburn color that I use is close enough that I don't have to worry too much about my roots. I'd love to go blonde, pretty close to the shade she has here, but I wouldn't want to have to maintain that. I love my red hair and everyone thinks it's natural because my Mom and Aunt dye their's red also.
23I change every other month, not a few times a month. Same color get boring.
24About once a year, although if I like a color I sometimes stay with it for 2-3yrs. Usually I have the colorist change up my color using highlights to alter the look. Although when I go in July for my haircut & color I plan on getting my hair dyed close to it's natural shade (just slighter lighter so it won't be harsh) and some scattered thin golden highlights to finish the look.
25I change mine every two months or so. I only get color done professionally once or twice a year, though...the other times, I do it at home. I know there's a chance that I'll end up with bright orange hair, but I think I'll take that risk.
26lovealways - I've been coloring my hair at home for ages, well really my hubby does it. Never had orange hair unless I wanted orange hair, you just gotta take extra care of it.
27I wish there was an option between "a few times a month" and once a year. I'd fit somewhere in there although right now, I'm sort of in the process of letting my natural (virgin) color grow out. It's so much darker than I remembered =P.
28I haven't dyed or highlighted my hair in about 5 years, don't plan on it anytime soon either. I like to keep it natural.
29I've got red hair. Will never change it!
30I love my natural black hair color, I don't even have highlight streaks.
31I have never died my hair, and don't plan to (until I start getting gray), mainly because I know if I did, I would want to change it all the time. I get bored easily, and I like changing my stuff around a lot, but surprisingly, I love my hair color and never get tired of it - although I do cut it and change my hairstyle a lot (4 times in the last 6 months)...
32I love how all the redheads won't change their hair color.
Rock on, you recessive gene carriers!
33It's either my natural dark golden brown or or light blonde.
34When I was younger I tried red too.
I've got dark brown, almost black hair colouring and it's my fave feature. I used to dye the tips red or purple, but that was when I was in my late teens. The bottled colour version of my hair just never seems to look right!
35I change mine up whenever I get bored with the color. I've been keeping it natural lately, dark, rich brown but then I've added some caramel highlights.
36I naturally have dark golden blonde hair, but it's been maroon, light red, fuschia and black, dark red, dark red and black, dark red and blonde streaks, white (and I mean pure white!), platinum, light blonde, dark blonde. Never had brown hair because it looks hideous on me, unfortunately.
Now I just keep it around my natural blonde shade--I change it up a few times a year. In the fall and winter I go for a warmer golden color and in the summer I lighten it to a pale blonde. I dye it every few months. I don't mind my roots coming through as they're just a bit darker blonde and give my hair depth.
37My natural blonde has gotten a little darker in my 20s, so I get lighter blonde highlights. Since my skin is SO pale, I can get away with pretty light hair - just have to avoid the Children of the Corn look.
Last week I actually did something a little crazy, and had the lower 1/3 of my hair colored a cinnamon red, just for fun. It peeks out a little from the ends, and is from the same family as my blonde so it doesn't look too weird. I might work in some more red lowlights next time!
38I have never died my hair. I have naturally light blonde hair that basically bleaches itself in the summer. Whenever I go to a new stylist, they never believe that my haircolor is natural. When I tell them it is, they always go on and on about how much people pay to get their hair to look like mine... but I get it for free!
39I color my hair whenever I get bored of the previous color, but I try to keep it natural. I did it most recently the other night when I went from dark blond to auburn. I am still getting used to it and I am going to do blond highlights in the front tonight. I do it from a bottle so it's not, like, $30 every time I do it. It's around $10. My hair takes color really well, so I am fortunate.
40I change my hair color about 6 times a year. I love to experiment with new colors! I go from blonde to brown to red to black and back to blonde. My hair isn't in it's healthiest condition right now, but it's so much fun! ♥
41I used to be a dye bottle junkie. But after years of damage to my hair I have been bottle free for 3 years
and have excepted my natural dark brown/ almost black shade.
42and I just had a spelling error... accepted. Forgive me it's Monday morning =P
43I've had my hair in various colors in the past, but now I just stick to dyeing it to a slightly different shade of brown a few times a year.
44i really like changing
45my hairstyle, often
but never going to far
just from brown to a light
brown and highlights, but
i do love my highlights a
lot, but i hate all black and
all blonde hair color on me...
but i've been doing it since
i'm 18, and havent stop
doing it .... a really like
it
Never.. I'm too chicken
46These days, I never dye my hair. I think hair dye is unhealthy for hair.
Unfortunately, I may be graying prematurely. It's in my genes. I have a cousin and uncle who were completely gray by their late 30's. It seems that I'm heading in that direction.
But I'm okay with that. Gray hair is healthy hair. My grays strands are thicker than my dark strands. I may end up with head of thick silver hair -- like a silver mane. I'm okay with that.
47I lovee my hair color and although sometimes I want a change. It lightens up in the summer anyways because I'm always in the sun so I kinda get that dye effect anyways but it's always natural. I do have highlights though.
48I am always blond, in winter it's cold, Scandinavian blond, in spring and summer light golden blond. My hair colour depends on my hairdresser who I'm trust.
49I'm naturally platinum blonde, and I have never and will never color my hair. I don't go out in the sun, so it stays the same color year-round.
