When I heard about this new Cheek Venom ($24) from DuWop, I had mixed feelings of fear and excitement. While I know that tons of you are fans of the famous Lip Venom, I feel it's far too spicy and tingly for my sensitive lips. The good news is that Cheek Venom still tingles when applied, but my cheeks are much less sensitive.
Believe it or not, Lip Venom has been out for 10 years already. This new product was inspired by the cult classic in the hopes of creating a new one (I guess you guys will be the judge of that). Like the gloss, this also has that same super-spicy cinnamon-gum scent and it works to stimulate your circulation to create a natural-looking flushed effect.
Cheek Venom provides long-lasting color and the texture is thin, smooth, and easily spreadable. It contains silicone, hyaluronic acid, and essential oils that even make it good for you. You can apply it with your fingertips or with a firm brush. Cheek Venom is available in two shades. For color descriptions, read more.
- Sidewinder is a nude, spiced-tawny color.
- Diamondback is a hot coral-pinky shade.

Interesting.
1Oh I want to try it!
2i'm a fan of the lip plumper, but i look wierd with anything on my cheeks
3I want to try this! Sounds nice! I love lip venom so I will probably like this.
4I don't like lip venom at all--never did much for me, but it still stung--but I'd try this. It sort of seems like the same idea as pinching your cheeks to get them rosy.
5I think Lip Venom is the worst product I've ever tried. It made my lips feel like they were burning off. I seriously don't know how people can stand that sensation.
So with that said, there is little to no chance that I will be trying this!
6I wanted to say that the lip venom only lasts for about ten minutes on me, and it is also supposed to be "long lasting". you way want to test this before buying it.
7agh tingling cheeks? i'm happy without tingling lips, let alone face!
8sounds pretty cool. Its probably too expensive though.
9I want to try!
10Erm... cheek plumper? Aren't they naturally that way?? I don't like Lip Venom or other stinging products, and I don't like cream/mousse products, so I think I shall skip merrily past this one...
11My face already gets red very easily, this would make people ask me all day if I'd been to the tanning bed...no thanks!
12Lip venom lasts at most an hour on pretty much everyone, which is alright for lip gloss.. But you wants their blush to only last an hour before it changes colour on you? DuWop use to be so innovative, what happened??
13Of course I wouldn't use this, but I love the tingle of all lip plumping products. After applying in the mirror I always do the pucker-pout.
14Unfortunately I think my cheeks are far too plump already...
15DuWops blushes were already SO GOOD that this is just great!
Hard to believe its been 10 years already, I remember when lip venom came out. Wow, showing my age here!
16ooooh.... sounds tempting!
