I know it's some sort of unwritten rule that women are supposed to go gaga for everything Marc Jacobs does, but lately he's been turning out one stinker after another. I miss the quirky, nerdy Marc of yesteryear — the kind of designer who'd come up with something kooky and fun. Something like this collection of beauty accessories, actually.
After launching Daisy Marc Jacobs last year, he (okay, more accurately, his design team) has come up with a fresh, fun collection of beauty gear available exclusively at Sephora. The slightly retro floral design reminds me of something a cool girl in 1963 might have carried. Could this be a return to the days of Dorky Marc? My fingers are crossed.

Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Treasure Beauty Case ($50) has a daisy on top, embossed logo, and dividers to store all of your goodies.Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Pretty Pouch Trio ($38) features three metallic gold cosmetics bags.Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Cushy Brush Set ($70) is cushy indeed. I love the way it looks, but I'd need to see the brushes to know if the set is reasonably priced.Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Luxe Vanity Case ($90) is my favorite. (Of course I like the most expensive thing. Ugh.) This fold-out case features two drawers, three trays, and two foldout pockets in the front. Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Soap Trio Delight ($15) is a set of three soaps. They're cute, but after they're wet, they won't look as cute.
This is actually really cute - I like the brushes especially! The vanity case looks really nice, but I've pretty much given up on organising devices for my stash. They're fairly pointless. I now go for organisational furniture.
1I saw these online yesterday and I love them. Ugh...yet another thing I want from Sephora...
2Very CUTE!

4lovely!
5Cute!
6Adorable! I'm going to get the case and the little bags. I, too, need to see (i.e. feel) the brushes first. So cute! I loved the whole Daisy design, but the perfume wasn't my style. This lets me enjoy the design without the perfume!!
7Love that! My favorite pieces are the brushes & train case.
8I want the brush set! It looks like it would fit in my purse perfectly.
9This is so cute! I love the cosmetic bags, and the brush set. Hope the quality of the brushes are good though. Wouldn't want to pay 70 bucks for something of sub-standard quality just because it's Marc Jacobs.
10How cute!
Except I never like to shell out big bucks for makeup cases or bags; they always get coated in makeup powder! Be it eyeshadow, blush, or the like, I can't seem to keep it clean!
11Ooh, this is a must-have for me! I'm obsessed with Daisy!
12The brush set look really
13nice, they are great for
travel, and look like
it fit perfectly in you
purse, i Like it...
I wouldnt buy it.
Im on a self imposed Marc Jacobs strike actually. I own quite a few pairs of his shoes (various wedges, stilettos and boots) and he used to be so edgy and creative.
Now? He designs shoes for my grandmother.
I was in the MJ store the other day, and it was so boring and bland. And full of tourists and these hipsters. It was traumatizing. LOLOL
14SO cute!
