Well well, look at what the cat dragged to the Hollywood premiere of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. What one man deems as an edgy hairstyle another might call frizzy and maybe even a little bit freaky. And how about that guyliner? I'm all for taking beauty risks, but is it me or does it seem like Russell and Flowbee duked it out right before this event? How do you feel about Russell's red-carpet look?

1i agree Bella. hate the guy liner and his hair looks like he just rolled out of bed and why is his shirt undone so much??? he looks like that guy on deuce bigalow (the one who let deuce stay at his house? the ultimate gigolo?). Russell is an attractive guy but this look does nothing to enhance that.
2I don't actually feel like giving an opinion about this. He's a comedian, not a Hollywood actor with overbleached teeth and it's his look that he always has. Expecting him to have "normal" hair is like expecting Bjork to wear things like a minimalist Calvin Klein dress. It would weird me out if they changed and I would wonder if they're feeling ill.

8Russell Brand is wicked; I love his sense of humour. Although his sense of style is not one I wish to emulate, I think he pulls this off quite nicely. I mean, he wouldn’t be the same without the foot long back combed hair and black kohl. Its Russell, people- cut him some slack. He’s a comedian, not a model!

Bearing in mind that I'm looking objectively at an appearance, not at the person behind it...
I think he could have pulled it off without the facial scruff. If it were gone or even tidied up, the rest would have looked intentional (or even ironic?) but as is it just looks like he woke up late from a long nap and threw on some guyliner before rushing out the door!

39I love Russell Brand - his looks are his trademark and I think they owe a lot to his success; love his style or hate it, the grungy gothic hair and make-up really make him stand out! I would be worried if he DIDN'T turn up to a premiere in his usual scruffy-chic.
40Ladies: It's Russell's Dickensian Pimp look. If you want to see Russell with his hair natural, and no eyeliner, look for his "On the Road" documentary, where he and Matt Morgan retrace the journey Jack Kerouac made in his book of the same title. You can see clips of it on YouTube. I love Russell, hair up or down. He is intelligent, sweet, and funny.
