I've been looking at DiorSkin Airflash for a few months, but I wanted to play around with this kind of product before dropping $60 on it. So finding these new spray-on products from Sonia Kashuk is a delight. The makeup artist's first limited-edition collection, available at Target, includes Eliminate Shine ($12.99) and Golden Summer ($12.99).
Spray products might seem like a gimmick at first, but they're actually legitimate. The particles are so small that they can be sprayed, which can help you get a smoother, more natural look. The key is to use a brush or sponge to apply the products — you don't want to spray them directly on your face.
Eliminate Shine is a light tan powder that helps mattify skin. Because it goes on so sheerly, it made my skin look more even-toned and less shiny after a busy day of blogging. There is pigment in this, however, so I don't think it would work well for women who have dark skin — it'll just make your skin look ashy. On the other hand, the bronzer, Golden Shimmer, would be beautiful on olive- or caramel-colored complexions. It adds a bit of warmth and a slight sheen, and it would be particularly sexy on just-shaved legs.

I actually bought this at Target last night. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. And yes, the key is to use a brush!
1Interesting. And pretty affordable.
2hmm..I may try this! Would the Eliminate Shine one be good for people with really pale skin? Because that's me.
3I think I'm going to try the mattifying one! How awesome.
4Sounds like a great product...yet, from from Bella's description, a whole population of women can't even use it...
5I'd really like to try the one that eliminates shine. I've never used spray makeup, but I'd like to try it.
6I'm going to have to be the second to want to know if there's one good for those of us with a pale complexion. Both sound like they might be too dark for me and I don't tan no matter what time of year it is.
7Okay - I'm intrigued. And I will have to be the third one wanting to know if there's one good for those of us with a pale complexion. I'm also wondering about the wearability: if it fades quickly or shows break through under humid conditions.
8Yes, these are great for pale complexions. I'm fair myself and although I worried that the bronzer would be too much, but it's not. You can put it on pretty sheerly, so that works well.
9i didn't knew about this, i
10use the Dior SkinFLash it
works pretty good, but this
looks that it does almost the
same for a much better price.
it'll think it'll try it.....
very interesting...I think i may have to try it next time I make it to Target
11So if you shouldn't directly spray it, do you spray a brush first and then apply it to your face? Or do you spray something (your arm?) and then use a brush to pick up the product? I just think you'll get makeup everywhere if you try to aim for a small brush or sponge. I'm confused.
12I think I might pick this up and try it.
13It sounds nice, but I don't think I'd use it very often.
14Interesting - I like the sound of the eliminate shine one... but the word "tan" is off-putting. I'm snow white, and I'd rather not look like Cinderella's pumpkin... But I guess at that price, it really can't hurt to try it once...
15I have caramel skin... definitely thinking about trying the Golden Shimmer...
16I actually went out and bought the eliminate shine one - it looks amazing!!!!
17cool. i was just commenting the other day that i was looking for a spray foundation at an affordable price point.
18I went out yesterday and bought the Eliminating Shine--there was only one left. Went home and tried it with a big powder brush. It's amazing! I want to stock up on this! I'm extremely pale and always use the lightest foundation color available, and this was perfect.
I'm glad when I went to Sephora my Benefit Get Even powder was out of stock, because I love this even more, and it's more than half the price.
19I heard that the DiorSkin Airflash is a waste of $60. It became popularized because Carmindy on What Not To Wear uses it, but a lady at Sephora was telling me that she thinks that Carmindy uses a professional version of the product ... $13 for virtually the same product seems like the better deal.
20Cool. I wanna use this on my legs because I have scars on them
But DiorSkin is so expensive
and I don't need/want a self tanner because my legs are naturally tan! lol. And I love Target so this is amazing!
21Seems like a pretty good deal, and it's more convenient than moisturizers/lotion.
