The Balm is getting ready to launch a new matte bronzer called Bahama Mama ($18) in May. I've got pretty pale skin naturally, so this bronzer is great. It's sheer and it has a soft, gentle bronzing effect, which makes for a fabulous, natural-looking transition product before I have any trace of a summertime (real or fake) tan.
I love that there is no shimmer to it and it doesn't make my face look dirty or muddy like other matte bronzers can. Also, if you do begin to build a tan, it can always be layered for a deepened effect. It's formulated without parabens, there's a giant mirror on the inside for portable and easy bronzing. Plus, it looks amazing combined with Hot Mama, a universally flattering orgasm-colored blush, for a warm, beachy glow.

I haven't heard of this brand but the packaging is supercute! Sounds a bit like Benefit Hoola which is my favourite matte bronzer.
1Benefit is def my fav also. I have almost all of them. Im addicted
2I absolutely LOVE hot mama, its the first blush I've ever used, and I'm addicted. So I'll probably try this out, too.
3That looks way too light, it looks like my powder and I have really light skin.
4This looks perfect for my light skin.
5I love the name!
6Oooh, this looks like it might not look like a giant orange-brown streak... I approve of this new plan for making bronzers for pale people... it looks like a bronzer I might actually use!!!
7hmmm... maybe this will be a giveaway hint hint
8i've seen this at sephora already, along with their new eye makeup remover and lipsticks.
9I wish my Sephora carried TheBalm in the store :*(
10cute packaging always gets me
11cute packaging..but as a bronzer I don't think it would look good except on very very fair skin.
