The next OPI Collection does not fool around when it comes to color. The shades are spot-on renditions of the season's brights trend. Yellow? Check. Green? Check. Melon? Check. The colors are definitely not for the faint of heart.
There's nary a hint of shimmer or silliness in these colors; they are just pure, true, bright shades. The colors are more sheer than you'd expect, which is surprising considering how pigmented they look in the bottle. You definitely need two coats to achieve a solid color on your nail, but this helps them look subtle instead of severe, translating otherwise garish colors into something that's feminine and pretty.
I've been wearing Mod-ern Girl, a gorgeous salmon pink. To see which cutesy names OPI came up with this time, read more.
- That's Hot Pink is a bright, electric pink.
- Mod-ern Girl is a sheer, pinkish-melon color.
- Brights Power is a true, bright orange.
- The "It" Color is a sheer, bright yellow.
- Dating a Royal is a bright, royal blue.
- Green-Which Village is a pale, sheer pea-green.

Ooh, I LOVE these! And the fact that they're sheer makes them all seem pretty wearable. I love wearing funky colors on my nails, I'll definitely be trying some of these.
1I'm so glad they came out with these colors. I've been looking at my salon recently wondering which ugly color to put on that doesn't match my outfits. LOL
I'm using Borghese right now, they have a couple of great coral's. I'm going to do a blog on the varnish, since it has serious staying power. They need more than one coat too.
2The green and blue are looking awesome!
3I have the Mod-Ern Girl as well...
it looks gorgeous as a
pedicure...on my fingers it was a bit much though.
4Ooh, I need a few of these! I love the melon, orange, and pea green ones. Gorgeous!
5Please no sheer pea green or sheer yellow nails. It'll look like you have an infection or something.
6I just bought the green and blue a few days ago. I especially love the blue.
7Am i the only crazy one who buys the bottle of nail polish and NEVER ever come close to finish using the damn thing ? I guess it's the point of having your very own bottle more than actually using all of it. maybe i can start ebay-ing the others ...
8I just saw these about two minutes ago on alllacqueredup.com. I'm loving all of these shades!
9ooh, fancy! i like the yellow one.
10YESH!!!!!! I LOOOOOOVE THEM ALL!!
green, pink, blue, yellow will make canadian spring to be bright, and summer even brighter..lol
11hello beautiful colors. these are great- very summerish!! cant wait for the pinks and melons
12love them, perfect for spring/ summer.
13considering doing "skittle nails" with these..
14I love the green
not sure how it would look on my nails ....
15Hmm sheer or not some of these are just not for me.
16I've seen swatches of Green-Wich and it seemed more opaque than sheer. I can't wait for these to be released. I'm working on building a collection of nail polish and I want to get some COLOR in my life.
17Can't wait!!
18Ooh! I want the Green-Which Village. Skittle nails would be an adorable idea.
19i dunno about anyone else but i dont notice the different with any nail polishes anymore. the cheap ones are just as good as the expensive ones, plus i always change my nail polish like at least every 2 days. so whats the point in buying the expensive ones anymore when they only chip off anyway? :s
20I LOVE these colors! I don't like wearing yellow on my fingers, it makes me look sick, but I'll be wearing the rest of them for sure!
21lovin' these colors
22nice! I want to try the salmon & the blue shades.
23modern girl looks nice
24seriously - these are so late 80s! here we go again. can't wait for grunge to come back in full force.
25I bought the yellow the other day and got a mani with it. I love it!
26these are so cute! I love Mod-Ern Girl and Dating A Royal! These would be so cute for summer!
27I have Mod-ern Girl and love it!
