On Saturday evening at the the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, DC, the one woman whose elegant evening makeup look stood out from the rest was Jenny McCarthy. Marcia Cross came in as a close second, while Pamela Anderson's hair and makeup looked unkempt and, frankly, rather trashy for such a conservative event.
Jenny has been looking fabulous lately. She's in great physical shape, she seems to be in love with Jim Carrey, and she's recently been playing around with shorter bangs. For product suggestions and application tips so that you can re-create Jenny's makeup look at home, read more.
- FACE: Apply a generous amount of creamy, light coverage foundation like Giorgio Armani Face Fabric #2 to a clean, moisturized face and blend using a cosmetic sponge. Next, apply concealer around the nose and to any red or dark areas. Finish, by dusting your skin with a sheer powder such as Giorgio Armani Micro-Fil Loose Powder in #2.
- CHEEKS: Smile, and then apply a pinky-tawny blush such as Color Intrigue Blush in Pink Glow by Elizabeth Arden to the apples of your cheeks and blend outward. Clean your brush on the back of your hand and blend again for a more subtle effect. Then, apply a liquid luminizer to the top of the blush (the high part of your cheekbones) and blend using the cosmetic sponge.
- EYES: Begin by sweeping a bone-colored eye shadow all over the lid. Next, gently apply a black shadow in the crease and blend well. Line your upper and lower lashes with a creamy black eyeliner pencil. Tip: Make sure the pencil is sharp (you'll get a finer line and make fewer mistakes). Then, apply false lashes and coat with black mascara. Apply a little bit of white sparkle underneath the lower lashes; try Benefit Miss Popularity. Fill in your brows with a pencil that is one shade darker than your natural hair color. Clean up any fallen shadow with a Q-Tip and follow with a brightening makeup pen around your eyes.
- LIPS: Line lips with a nude lip liner and then using a lip brush, apply a sweet pink lipstick like Pur Minerals Mineral Shea Butter Lipstick in Pink Isocite all over your. And skip the gloss — your creamy lips, powdery cheeks, and luminized face create a balanced and engaging multitextured look.

Really? All I can see is the harsh line around the lips -- nude lips are fine, but this just makes her look like she forgot the lipstick.
1She looks divine.
2Love her!
3I think this look ages her. And I'm not sure about the hair - it looks a little too poufy/50's houewife for me. She's looked a million times better.
4I think she looks fab!
5It's alright, something about the eye makeup seems too heavy.
6I think she has been looking really masculine and severe lately. I don't know, maybe its because her face is so skinny...
7i agree that this ages her. i would have preferred to see her in something more lightweight.
8I don't really care for this at all...I agree that it looks heavy and it definitely ages her.
9I hate that hair...
10smokin! great hair!!!
11she looks harsh to me.
12I think she looks gorgeous.
13I really don't like her. She rubs me the wrong way all the time. The makeup is okay though.
14yeah, I was going to use the word harsh, too. that line around the lips is sooo distracting.
15The excessive blush and lip liner are killing it for me.
16Sorry, way too heavy and overdone for my taste.
17i don't like this look on her...in one word overdone!
18I wouldn't say that this should be her first choice for a look, but at least she's not trying to look 15 years old. Still, not too bad.
19She looks like a tranny!
20I hate that only lipliner look!
21Those lips are a little on the verge of leanin' like a Chola! I have nothing but hispanic love (seein as how im half) but that lipliner shouldve been more nude, its showing and that just throws of the neatness of the look.
