Yesterday, Rachel Bilson did some shopping in Los Angeles with her hair styled in a low ponytail with a thin braid wrapped from ear to ear. This is a new take on the braid-band, as I like to call it. It's thinner and much more delicate than the hippie braid or the summer braid. Funny, isn't it, because Summer was actually Rachel's character's name on The OC — ahh, I really do kill myself sometimes. Do you like this look, and do you think you'd wear it?

I think it's really cute. But I don't know, braids are kinda getting boring at this point. I'm sick of seeing them featured as "the new summer trend", when they've really been trendy fo the past 3 years or something.
