So many of the Sugar girls have been sharing their favorite beauty tips and tricks. (If you missed any, they're here.) Today's profile is one a lot of you have been waiting for: PopSugar! She's a blue-eyed beauty, and she has tons of tips for curly hair. Read on.
Which beauty products are your must-haves?
Prada lip balm [Bella's note: You have no idea how unhappy Pop was when it was discontinued], Physicians Formula Solar Powder, and Chantecaille concealer. I'm seriously loyal to my haircare products — I've been using Vavoom since I was 13! I love Biolage mousse, Vavoom forming gel, and TIGI Bedhead Control Freak gel.
What’s your favorite beauty ritual?
A long shower, which I know isn’t good for the environment, but I can’t help it.
What’s your go-to lip product?
Can’t express enough how in love I am with this Prada lip balm. I seriously can’t go a day without it.

What is your morning beauty routine?
I'm low-key. I take a nice long shower, throw in my three hair products, moisturize. For my face, I use concealer followed by powder, barely-there eye shadow, and then I must have mascara and lip balm.
What’s your signature fragrance?
It used to be Bob Mackie, then the original Marc Jacobs. But since Katie, I don’t really do perfume anymore. Something about scents when you're pregnant doesn’t mix. Since then I have not loved wearing anything more than a scented lotion.
What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t overtweeze your eyebrows — the results can be hazardous. Oh, and never ever cut bangs with my kind of hair.
Any tips or tricks you want to share with readers?
Lots for curly-haired girls! Brush your hair in the shower with conditioner in, but once you're out of the shower, don’t dare brush. Also, let your hair air dry if possible and touch it as little as possible. For more defined curls, put in mousse/gel after the shower while hair is wet then curl sections around your finger. Once they're curled, don’t touch again.
Your favorite drugstore beauty product?
I am surprised how much I like Physicians Formula. I also love Dove soap and Pantene shampoo and conditioner.
When do you feel the most beautiful?
Bella, you'll kill me but it's when I get back from a vacation with my family: relaxed, well rested, and with a healthy, nice tan/glow. Of course I was still wearing SPF the whole time, I swear!

Ugh. I feel bad that people have to apologize for enjoying a little sun and that fresh-from-vacation glow. Great tips Pop.
1Pantene is pretty awesome, I do admit.
2I'm constantly surprised how much I like Physicians Formula too! It is really great for super sensitive skin.
3I love Dove soap too...I've used it since I was a little girl.
4dove rules. Also for the curls, after you twist them you can use a diffuser if you're in a rush. That's what I do. I use different products (just a light gel and curl cream) but it's the same idea
5I brush my hair in the shower too! I keep a comb in the shower. To define random curls without using an iron I like to take a strand, dampen it, twirl it around my finger and pin it with a bobby pin for a couple of minutes. When I take it out its a perfect ringlet which I usually loosen up a bit
6Thanks Pop! I'm a curly girl too
7I too was crushed when they discontinued the Prada lip balm. Loved that stuff.
8bumble and bumble products are also great for curly hair
9every hair stylist I have ever worked with has cursed pantene. most of them love loreal or Kérastase.
10I have BOXES of the prada lip balm stocked up in my closet (all carefully sealed). I thought I was the only one who obsessed over that stuff.
11I like physicians formula a lot too.
12I love Physicians Formula Mineral Face Powder. It's helped my skin clear up. I have a couple blemishes a month (darn hormones) but I got rid of most of the misc. acne problems I was having. I'm addicted!
13i agree to only brush your hair in the shower, and never again...and don't touch it once your product is in...my tip, as a naturally curly-haired girl:
if your curly hair gets flats after being air-dryed, flip your head over, pur your fingertips on your roots, and give your hands a little shake - this will volumize the roots, ensuring you don't have build-up of product, and will give your hair a little vavoom
also, if your hair looks good before bed, and you think you might be able to get away with not washing it the next day, spray it with hairspray before you hit the pillow...it's much less likely to get frizzy, and the hairspray won't be crunchy come morning (this works especially well if you've had your hair up all day and it's still a tiny bit damp at bedtime when you take the elastic out)
14you are one smart curly haired girl! i have natural botticelli-esque waves and do the exact same thing to "coax" the curl. for a good drugstore product, i swear by brilliant brunette's finishing cream. its supposed to be like a finishing shine cream but i use it instead as a lightweight, non sticky curl gel. power to the curl!
15I have curly hair and I am going to start brushing my hair in the shower. thanks =]
16Can POP, BELLA, OR ELLAB TELL ME WHY YOU LIKE THE PRADA LIP BALM SO MUCH?? I'M REALLY CURIOUS ABOUT THIS STUFF. I WOULD LOVE TO TRY IT IF I COULD FIND IT SOMEWHERE.THERE HAS GOT TO BE SOMETHING EXTREMELY SPECIAL ABOUT THIS LIP BALM FOR ELLAB TO BE STORING BOXES OF IT IN HER CLOSET.
17I have curly hair too. As pop said the best thing to do is not touch it. I'll have to try the Physician's Formula Mineral line since everyone likes it so much.
18Another beloved lip product bites the dust! I feel for you, Pop.
