Generally, I dislike lip gloss because I haven't found one yet that isn't sticky-ish when you put it on. As for lipstick, it's okay, but I prefer to use it only for special occasions. I've never tried lip balm, tinted or not, so lip stain is pretty much my favorite method right now.

I'm old school in that I prefer lipstick. My fave, though, is Clinique Different Lipstick (fave shade is Shy), which is a lighter lipstick than most.

Oh wow, how can I choose??? I wear all of these pretty frequently!!

But my usual routine is Benetint followed by my beloved C.O. Bigelow MenthaShine gloss. I love the stain of Benetint on my lips and the super-shiny gloss of the MenthaShine.

I'm a lip gloss ho'. Lipsticks feel weird to me.

I use N.Y.C lip gloss over Blistex medicated balm.

But when I feel like blowing $7.50 on lip stuff I'll upgrade from balm to C.O. Bigelow Mentha lip shine.

Gloss

I knew lip gloss would get the majority vote, but I'm going for good old lipstick with lip balm following. I love lip stick. I don't care much for gloss. It doesn't remind me of anything I find appealing like lip stick does.

I have over 20 tubes of lip gloss, my addition has gotten to the point where I need a separate place to store them.

i have to wear chapstick or something underneath my lip gloss. i can't stand lip gloss on my bare lips weird i know!

That's hard, I love everything, but I can't live without Carmex- no joke.

I don't like gloss, since I generally underplay my lips and fancify my eyes It also feels icky...
Since I'm still in school and I don't like wearing too much makeup to school, I generally stick to a good lip balm, but for special occasions I love my lipsticks

Oh, and I forgot to mention that my hair is generally all over the plaxce, and so it tends to smear gloss all over my face, especially on windy days

I chose gloss, but that's not exactly accurate, because I wear all four on a pretty regular basis, and often combine them - like, I'll wear a lip balm under a lipstick and put a gloss on top. Or I'll wear a stain and a balm over it, because I find that stains make my lips feel really dry. Conclusion: I'm just generally a lip-product wh*re. Oh well...

lipstick!! topped with gloss lol... i use vaseline overnight so my lips stay soft so i dont realy need balm in the morning.. but i like color for sure

I hate lipgloss- I hate the texture and, for some reason, I feel like I'm twelve whenever I wear it. It's too glossy! I do love my lipstick, though.

Lipgloss! But I want to try out a tint sometime soon with the gloss.

Lipgloss is so easy to use and you get great color. I also liked tinted balms. I have never really been a big fan of lipstick but I know that they've come a long way since I played with my Mom's as a kid. I'd love to try a stain but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I am a complete flavored lip gloss and lip balm wh*re. I have a huge collection of items in these categories and I collect new scents and flavors wherever I go.

It's good stuff.

I also love to make my own lip balms in tubes and small pots with decorative shrink wrap and sticker labels containing my own graphics and names. So fun.

Large cocoa butter lip balm sticks are awesome as well.

Skittles flavored lip balms are pretty awesome. And I like the regular Burt's Bees lip balm, too, because it makes my lips feel tingly and cool.

I have a rather large lip balm collection, all kinds--cheap and expensive, and I rotate them depending on my mood.

Gloss! It's the perfect medium between lipstick and balm.

I like and use them all, depending on my mood and occasion. I often use them together. Aveeno's Positively Radiant lip balm is my favorite, keeps lips moist and perfect base.

I am also addicted to lip gloss, but I love lipstick also followed with a gloss...hahaha! I also have my lip chap next to my bed and would like to use a tint in the future....love to have pretty lips!

I have long hair, and long hair and gloss to not mix! Unless you like to pull out pieces of hair from your lip gloss all day! I like lip stick, but I use Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey, the best color ever! Seriously, it works on everyone! It goes on light and shiny and is the perfect color! But since I stay at home with my girls right now, I mostly wear lip balm, all day every day! Gotta have smooth lips.

I love them all and I wear them all. I have so many lip products I don't know what to do with them all. I agree with doogirl though. Clinique's Black Honey is amazing. It's my favourite lip item of all time. (i love both the almost lipstick and the lipgloss versions.)

I chose lip gloss because it's what I turn to most often but I do use them all. Currently my favorite lip gloss is by Rimmel (Smog). I love the smell and color. I like lipsticks but think it's a pain to keep applying it during the day, whereas with a lipgloss I don't even need to use a mirror. I recently bought a stain (Revlons bitten) but I hated it, it just left me with deep red lines in some parts and no stain at all in others. I'll have to try it again someday, maybe with some balm over it.

lip gloss

I usually go to my lip balm, which is glossy. I use Philosophy Lip Shine & Rosebud.

i think i grab my lipgloss more often than anything else, but i have enough lipstick to last a lifetime as well.

Toss up between balm and gloss. Chose balm because I use it more often and it is less sticky.

I never liked lipstick because it comes off on everything. I like Burt's bees Lip Shimmer and Revlon Colorstay Lip color.

gloss! but i generally dont wear anything - my lips never get dry so i usually dont bother. doesnt really explain why i have about 239837 different glosses!!!!

Berry Stain or red lipstick!

I love Burt's bees balm or fruit lip gloss for on the go. My fave glosses are Co Bigelow ultra mentha and American Girl real beauty sheer conditioning lip shine in strawberry. A friend gave it to me and it is one of the best glosses I own so don't be fooled because its marketed to little girls. it smells perfect too- minty fruity and its cool on your lips but not tingly like mentha lip shine.

i dont really wear lipstick but i always wear chapstick/lip balm.
