So far we've seen two beauty looks from Angelina Jolie at the Cannes Film Festival. The first was yesterday morning at the Kung Fu Panda photo call when she arrived wearing minimal makeup and her hair styled with one side half-up and half-down.
The second was last night at the Kung Fu Panda movie premiere. Her makeup was more defined and her hair was flowing long and loose. Both looks are beautiful on the glowing, growing star, yet I took a pregnant pause at the somewhat matronly, late '70s-inspired, one-sided style. Do you like this look on Angelina?

23haha luccyS - i was going to comment on her chest as well! she looks huge! it's weird too, too see this more mature angelina as i'm watching the e! true hollywood story about her. she had a much different look to her in the late 90's when she started her career. how she's changed in 10 years!

26I like that she feels like going in a different direction with her look. Looks fabulous any way she wears it. You could hardly tell it's one-sided. It's very subtle.

38I think it's pretty interesting how some looks become "dated" a few decades later and others become "retro", "vintage", or "classic". Personally, I would call the left hairstyle "classic" because it's sweet, attractive, and simple. Not like it's a topknot!
39I think she looks good with both. I didn't know the half up half down was dated. As a matter of fact, I think I saw in one of the recent glossies step by step instructions on how to achieve the look.

43I think it looks fine, I honestly wouldn't have noticed her hair was half-up. I agree that her hair lately is looking lackluster. In close-up pictures, it looks very one-dimensional and bland.
44I do my hair like that all the time, I had no idea I was doing a seventies inspired "matronly" thing with my hair. Now I feel silly, perhaps I've been acting like nineteen years old is the new fifty without even knowing it! I think she looks beautiful though, and I will keep doing my hair like this no matter what.

46She looks better with it half pulled back. She gives me a Morticia Adams feel when her hair's down - too dark and too much.
47Now, she always looks great! I did not like her old vampire look. As for the hair, I do prefer her hair down, but the half-up look looks good to. She looks great pregnant, but I bet her body must feel so heavy. I would understand if she had a forced smile and want to go home. But she seemed very giggly at the interview so maybe she was really happy to be there?

49I thought the "half up/half down" was due to putting the hair behind your ear because it was getting in your way! I had no idea it was considered a style?!?!?! And yes, she does look good with it down-this coming from another NON-Fan.
