Dark eyes + red lipstocks =

she needs more neutral eyes. However it is a pretty shade

I think it's the wrong red for her complexion - for some reason it seems to clash with both her skin and her hair. Especially her hair.

her face is too red and that glossy lipstick doesn´t match. She should have chosen one with mate effect, at least...

I have a friend who wears her hair and makeup like that EVERY single day of the week. Same coloring as Natalie. Almost always she has on bright red lipstick. She's beautiful, but she looks like my grandma in 1945. I don't think it's an every day look for sure.

I didn't think it was all that bad. Maybe if she had a tab bit more color to her complexion, she could of rocked it. Although, red lipstick is all about confidence, and she def had that.

Her makeup these days has been horrible. She needs to fire her makeup artists asap. The lipstick definitely makes her look matronly. Her eyes are overdone too.

You either do a bold eye and a neutral lip, or a bold lip and a neutral eye, this is too much makeup on a young woman. But I like the lipstick color on her, maybe it would have been better if her hair was pulled back a little bit.

I like it...althouth i did notice her teeth are either a lil yellow or stained from the lipstick! She's gorgeous and i love her confidence

i think in theory red lipstick could have looked nice, but that colour just clashes too much...not to mention i think its on her teeth and now in her hair

I prefer the natural look for Portman. Lately, she has been wearing more makeup and doing more with her hair. Her best look was the year she was nominated for an Oscar in the film, "Closer". I loved the Grecian gold on her!

Other: If she had the red lip with a sheer eye shadow it would look gorgeous; however the black shadow is fighting for attention.
