Traditional Japanese patterns are so beautiful, especially when they're part of kimono and yukata garments. For instance, this maiko (an apprentice geisha) is wearing a vibrant kimono with an obi — and though they don't strictly match, they go together wonderfully.
Inspired by these patterns, I've found a few makeup bags adorned with plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and other Japanese flora. Just load yours up with some Shiseido, and you'll be halfway to Japan (figuratively, at least) before you know it.

Those are really pretty!
I have some gorgeous Chinese silk cosmetic bags (dark purple with light purple dragons and chinese writing) that I picked up in China at a snip...it's so sad how badly we get ripped off in the Western world!
1Asian prints are pretty, no doubt, but I've never been a huge fan of them...gigill is right, though, these are so much cheaper over in Asia!
2Super cute!
3I've always loved cherry blossom print. In fact, I just bought a beautiful candle down the Cape, the jar is painted with a gorgeous cherry blossom motif.
4I love Japanese print (I actually own a kimono-style shirt), but I just have way too many makeup bags...
5they're so pretty ^^ i also love japanese prints ^^
6My favorite is the heart pouch, but they're all pretty. I've always loved japanese prints. I have a few asian inspired blouses.
7I absolutely LOVE these prints! The Etsy site has some messenger bags that are great too. I have to get at least *one* of these pouches.
