Coming this August to a Target store near you are three, more affordable versions of designer cosmetics collections by Jemma Kidd, Pixi Cosmetics, and Napoleon Perdis. The reason for the push, according to consultant Allan Mottus, is that "Target is not doing well in mass beauty." Aside from Sonia Kashuk, a brand that they have a financial relationship with, the beauty department is not being properly maintained.

Prepare yourself to see TV, print, and online ads promoting the new brands along with in-store testers to encourage shopper interaction with the products. Each of the brands have modified their collections for the mass appeal, however they claim to remain similar to the coveted designer products.
- Jemma Kidd's line, JK Jemma Kidd has a heavy fashion inspiration with products ranging from $14 to $36.
- Napoleon Perdis' line, NP Set will consist of 85 products housed in white packaging with the phrase "What's in it for me?"
- Pixi Cosmetics' line, Pixi by Petra (Petra is the name of one of the founding sisters) stands by its good-for-your-skin angle and will sell products ranging in price from $12 to $39.

I'm interested in the Jemma Kidd line...I've heard her products are amazing. They're always featured in Lucky magazine.
1Jemma Kidd is quite popular over here in the UK, and I've found that I quite like her lip and eye products (I have some glosses and liners). And Pixi = amazing. There's a little boutique off of Oxford Street that I absolutely adore.
But yay for being able to buy things cheaper (in dollars) when I'm home!
2I hope they change out their testers more than Sephora does.
And I hope they dedicate more than three small aisles to makeup. The bigger the better!
3So this must be the reasoning behind N. Perdis parting ways with Sephora.
4By the way his stuff is still 50% off in stores and online.
oooh, can't wait to check them all out. I love Target!
5I'm always up for makeup - never tried any of these brands.
6as if i need another reason to drop $100 at Target every time I go..haha
7Oh man, there goes all my $$. I'm excited!
8Thanks for letting us know that you like the products, ladies, I would never have tried it and now I can't wait until I go next week!
9Oh I know colormesticky, I was their last week and their testers looked nasty!
These new lines at Target sound nice, can't wait to check 'em out.
10At least these sales are legal. I'm still pissed at Target for illegally selling BE.
11still doesn't seem that inexpensive to me... i like to wait for free-shipping coupons and do the e.l.f. thing.
12I'll pass on Napoleon Perdis' line...I wasn't interested when he was at Sephora, since his products looked like something I could buy much cheaper at Target. Also, I remember on an episode of "Australia's Next Top Model", one of the contestants remarked how horrible his products were (I can't remember why...it was some time ago).
I am excited though to try out Jemma Kidd and Pixi.
13This will definitely make me want to go into Target to check out the makeup section. I'm still staying away from their gray market stuff though, it's good that this is legit.
14How pretty is that little bronzing palette!! August you say?? Eesh...
15cool can't wait to see it =) this mainly helps me because the closest sephora to me is about 25 min away, where target is just around the corner haha.
16whoo-hoo!!! im sooooooo excited i love all of those brands!!!
17target was illegally selling BE?
18I want to see what the products at Target. The new products seem really good.
19I'm not a fan of the Jemma Kidd products - Boots has them here in the UK, but they're overpriced for the quality.
20Just went in Target today, & checked out the Jemma Kidd Products, absolutely love all the great products, especially all the eye shadows,& lipsticks, ( awesome colors!!!) Can't wait, to go back!!!
21i am beyond excited for this i cant wait
