I know my obsession with hand creams borders on the ridiculous. (You don't even know how hard it was to choose my five favorites.) But look, when Ryan Gosling and I inevitably meet, I'll be well-prepared. "My, that Bella has soft and smooth skin," he'll think as we shake hands. "I must ask her on a date and uncover her secret." So to be ready for this highly plausible scenario, I like to keep my paws soft.
I've just found the perfect purse-friendly way to keep my addiction going: Nivea Soft. It comes in a small plastic jar with less than an ounce of product in it, so unlike creams that come in tubes, it runs no risk of being punctured by an errant pen. The whipped texture sinks into skin pretty quickly, and the classic Nivea scent reminds me of my grandmother. And at just 99 cents for this little container, it's a steal. I picked mine up at Walgreens, and now it's in my bag. You know, just in case I run into you-know-who.

Sounds great, but I've been so paranoid about sunscrren lately- especially my hands. I love, love, love Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Age Shield Hand Cream with SPF 30. Small tube fits well (may puncture I guess
) but hydratres so well and protects.
1I bought one in a blue tin for 99 cents like two years ago. It was ok, I liked it but it was kind of greasy.
2I see this one in Duane Reade and always wondered if it was good. Now I know.
3I love Nivea creams!
The hand creams, and the body lotions.. they smell so good! Reminds me of my childhood.
I have the classic hand cream, the one that comes in a big blue jar, on my nightstand at all times. And a small tube version of it in my purse.
4I have that same scenario in my head! Except...it's for Christian Bale since he was here in my city so much last year. Alas...no Bale or Gosling for me.
This sounds really great. I just started using Nivea Creme (the one from Germany which I
guess is different from the one they make in America) and Nivea Milk (again from Germany) and I love both products.
5Lol Bella! Great, now I want this Nivea stuff...something else to add to the ridiculous about of mess in my bag.
6I use this too and I love it! But for summer, I do love Neutrogena's Age Shield Hand Cream because of the SPF. I learned my lesson after a really bad sunburn on my hands while kayaking...ouch
7I love this stuff too! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with a hand cream obsession
8LOL bella you're too funny!
9What took you so long! Best. Product. Ever.
10SO excited! My summer curly hair products have my palms all dried out and gross. I was JUST thinking on my morning commute that I was going to suss out a new handcream. Ta da Bella delivers, as usual
11I've always thought Nivea made the best creams...they smell soft and pretty and work SO WELL.
12My boyfriend has this creme in the big tub so it reminds me of him. I use it on my hands when I'm at his place before I go to bed, otherwise I use lavendar L'Occtaine cream at home.
13Not sure if the line is available here in the US, but Nivea also makes great makeup.
14I got this as a free sample and never thought about how convenient it would be for my purse! Thanks, Bella!
15I'll have to try this version of the Nivea hand cream.
I know the best version to buy is the original blue tin of Nivea however it has to say "Made In Germany" instead of the common "Made In Mexio." The version made in Germany is the best formula.
16I use the little blue can of the regular as a lip primer.
17I've had one of these floating around at my house for quite a while. It's great in the winter and especially on a chapped nose.
18This one is lighter in texture and less greasy than the blue tin one.
19Indeed a very good hand cream! (Hands, arms, elbows,...!)
I'm sure Ryan will notice!
