Brand-new from Philosophy is a range of mattifying skincare products called Never Let Them See You Shine. Each of the three items aim to cut down sebum production and reduce the look of oily skin, while leaving your face feeling refreshed. The light blue formulas have a minty, sea-inspired scent and are best suited for those with oily and acne-prone sensitive skin.
After trying everything out, I really liked the way my face reacted to the scrub the best. It's thick, but it spreads easily and the beads are smooth as opposed to feeling grainy and rough — so they don't irritate your skin. Plus, the menthol is the strongest in the scrub; after you wash it off, your face feels soft, smooth and cool.

For an up-close look at each of the products, read more.
Oil And Shine Control Cleanser ($20) gently breaks down deep-seeded dirt and grime in your pores without drying out your skin. It leaves your face feeling moisturized, clean and thanks to some added menthol, also a little bit tingly (in a good way).
Oil And Shine Control Scrub ($20) helps remove dead skin cells with the help from small blue polishing beads. To use, simply massage a little bit into your skin in small circles for one minute and then rinse with lukewarm water.
Oil And Shine Control Velvet Touch Primer ($20) is a mattifying pre-foundation, pre-powder primer that helps keep your face looking dry and oil-free all day long. It also calms, soothes and eases any redness and inflammation. It has a super-soft texture that leaves skin ultra smooth and helps reduce the look of large pores.

Oh, I'd like to try that primer. I like Dr. Brandt's Pores No More right now, but this sounds like something similar- maybe better?
1Hey ladies where do I buy these at? I really would like to try them out. Thanks.
2oh sephora ok.
3Hmmmm... might have to give these a try. I use the bare escentuals makeup line and just started using their matifying primer but it doesn't _quite_ control the oil like it should.
4Philosophy makes great products.
5That scrub sounds awesome. I love anything that makes my face feel tingly and clean. Although, sometimes those same products irritate my skin so I have to be careful.
6i love dr brandt pores no more too.....i might try this!
7I actually saw this in Sephora about a month or two ago...it looks nice, but the tube of primer is rather small, no?
8I have the primer. It does help somewhat with oil, but it's not a miracle in a tube or anything.
9I love the Oil And Shine Control Velvet Touch Primer ---it actually helps me from looking like I was frying chicken. It's a great product and I like the fact that their is no residue and its not nasty feeling.
10Thanks bellaressa! I know how much you like Philosophy.
11I do Sofi, I was really weary at first. I used Smashbox primer but sometimes I felt like I looked ashy then I went to Philosphy the Present, this is much better for the summer.
12I might try the primer - I just recently used primer for the first time (it was a Laura Mercier sample I got from sephora). I love how it helps my foundation last, but I would definitely love more oil control.
13Too expensive for me, I'm seriously that cheap.
14this is wonderful! this works really well! i haven't tried the primeer yet, though.
15Oh Philosophy! I'm ready excited about the primer. The Present's just not right for me. I'm really interested in the scrub as well! I really like the microdelivery wash and the greatest love was okay but i'm ready for something new! This is fun!
16I am truly a philosophy girl, in fact, I just bought another one of their lip glosses today. I am so going to order this soon.
17i don't really like the name
18I've tried the primer, and I have to say I was really disappointed. I typically love Philosophy's products, but I really did not see much of a difference with the primer. I will say however that I live in the south so if you didn't live in a hot, steamy environment you might see results.
19o0o0o these seem awesome! I have really oily skin (especially my t-zone) and I hate having to check my face every hour to see if my skin looks alright. Deffinately gonna give these a try!! =) thanks bellasugar!
20Bella did you notice a diffrence after using the scrub later in the day for oil control?
21I like the sounds of the primer. I have really sensitive acne prone skin so these products sound good but my skin isn't oily on the surface so I'm afraid they'd be too drying.
22I love Philosophy! I'm going to have to try these out...when I'm done with the products I'm using right now..
23i hate philosophy. there stuff didnt work for my skin whatsoever. it actually made me break out really bad.
24Can anyone tell me how effective these products truly are? Because I definitely have oily, acne-prone sensitive skin. Maybe I should check makeupalley. =)
