After recently admitting that I haven't found the perfect shampoo to add shine to my locks, I challenged you all to share your favorite shine shampoo. But based on the small number of bookmarks, it looks like you were having as much trouble as I was!
One reader who clearly has her shine regimen down to a science is Dagne (seriously, look at her picture). She starts with Graham Webb's Stick Straight Shampoo and Conditioner, and concludes with Tosca's Shine Detangling Conditioner.
Additionally, both Dagne and Sage Eyes (again, look at her shiny hair) recommend spritzing on a little apple cider vinegar after shampooing and before conditioning for even more shine. I can't wait to try these out; how about you?

What is the recipe for the apple cider vinegar "spritz"?
1I use Pantene 2-in-1 (the daily stuff) and Pantene Time-Renewal hair treatment. I also wash my hair in cold water every other day. I haven't taken before-and-after shots, but my husband tells me I have shampoo-commercial hair.
2I've used apple cider vinegar in my hair to get rid of build up. I haven't paid enough attention to notice if my hair was shinier though.
3I was told by a friend a while back that I have very shiny hair, but since I change products so often I don't really know where to give credit. I'd like to say it's in the genes
4I just recently discovered JASON natural color enhancing shampoo (for brown hair) and love it. I use it 2-3 times a week, and the JASON Scalp Normalizing Tea Tree Shampoo the rest of the week. My hair looks, feels, and smells so much cleaner, and the brown shampoo definitely brings out my natural color. I think it adds a bit of shine as well (although that may just be the lack of buildup from my previous shampoos).
5I remember when I was a kid and had headlouses (these nasty things loved me), my mum used to rinse my hear with lukewarm diluted vinegar after shampooing - my hair looked great! (but smelled of vinegar as she wouldn't rinse it)
6Wow, Bella, you sure know how to call a girl out! I'm a little embarrassed but thanks for the props, haha. I hope you get great results. I know those products have never let me down. Good luck!
Cmd, I use 1 part ACV and 3 parts water. Just be careful not to get any in your eyes because it will burn, burn, burn. Trust.
7I always just end up using shine serum or shine spray because shampoo and conditioner usually don't make my hair shiny enough.
8Whoa Bella! I nearly shot tea through my nose when I saw your post!
My recipe for the spray is normally half and half with water and ACV, but I do have cuticle layer that is pretty durable. Dagne's ratio would work better for this with curly or dry hair. My hair is wavy, but in healthy condition with a pretty solid cuticle.
PS, both John Masters Organics and Frederic Fekkai make ACV shampoos and/or rinses. I happen to love them both and use them on a regular basis!
9Wow thanks for your advice. I did a search on Tosca Style products they are in Canada but I found them here in the USA online. My hair had been looking dull and I was in the market for something new so i saw this recommendation and decided to go for it. My search brought me to a super deal the Tosca Shine system on Hairflixshop.com. not only did I get the Tosca products which I absolutely love and thank for my new shiny hair but the gave me a FREE BarBar flat iron worth like $150 what a steal. I love the iron as well, so check it out ladies I am happy when I find great deals that work for my hair.

I think my hair is pretty shiny just from no longer coloring it.
11I've heard great things about ACV being used to get rid of the build up so of course that would add great shine too.
