Fiberwig Mascara, $22, is finally available to all of us in the US! This lil' tube is the best selling mascara in Japan by a landslide.
It creates, long, lush false looking lashes by a special micro-fine fiber formula that binds to and instantly dries on your lashes. This deep black film coats (acts like a wig) the surface to result in lengthened lashes that won't cake or flake.
It is also smudge proof, water resistant and is easy to remove. Just use warm water and splash off. This revolutionary rinse off approach will help prevent loss and damage to your precious lashes! Available only in pure black.

OH.. I have used this before.. it is so much ex in US dollars, cos I paid only like USD$12 in Singapore... it is a good mascara, but only if you know how to use it.
use the tips of the brush and lightly brush it to the ends of your lashes, so that you deposit all the fibre onto your lashes, and they look extended and longer.
but, now, i stopped bothering with mascara.... it is much easier to stick on a pair of falsies.
1ooooo i wanna try it
2it sounds intense!
3I don't understand-- if it's waterproof, why does it only require water to take it off? Is it similar to Blinc's Kiss Me mascara, with what are essentially little tubes of mascara that cover each eyelash?
4ooh i want to try this. i'm over dior show mascara and chanel isn't as good as everyone said.
5ace - I'm wondering the same thing! How can something waterproof be removed with water...? And how is this different than Kiss Me...?
Bellasugar - Have you tried them both? I'd love to hear a comparison!!
6What about those of us with blue eyes! We need it in brown!
7OMG -- so excited! Thanks Fab!! I just called Sephora and put one on hold for me to pick up tonight when I finally get out of work. Soooo excited.
8You can get Imju Fiberwig in Brown (and for $12) on the Japanese cosmetic website Sasa.com. I love that place. They offer free shipping as well.
Fiberwig is one of my favorites, but Opera Mylash is easily my #1 "tubing" mascara. It's also on Sasa.com and it separates, defines and gives a bit more "oomph" to my lashes than Fiberwig.
All tubing mascaras are basically the same (Kevyn Aucoin, Kiss Me, Fiberwig, etc.). You need to take warm water and gently press your lashes between your fingertips to remove the tubes. Just getting your lashes wet doesn't remove the mascara (although Fiberwig did smudge a tiny bit on me). If you sleep in it overnight, you will find the little fibers under your eyes, so it's good to remove it before bed.
The biggest difference I saw between the KA, Kiss Me and Fiberwig mascaras is that Fiberwig needed more coats to build up my lashes and definitely gave a more natural appearance than Kiss Me and KA. Other than that, the basic principle is pretty much the same.
Gotta love Japanese cosmetics! They're so much more innovative and fun!
9This looks awesome! I'll let you know how it goes when I receive it in the mail.
10I'm Japanese, and I'm using this mascara for alomost 5years!!
It's sooo good and I can't make myself feel great without this!
11I really love it!!!
I just went to sephora and tried it on. And its great, no clumps or anything. Im not going to spend $22 on mascra but for those of you who dont mind; its a great product.
12japanese mascaras are the best. the. BEST. THE BEST.
13my best friend who lives in tokyo just sent this to me, im so excited to try it!!!
14Used to be a Diorshow user but I just started up with Fiberwig and I love love love it! Worth a try- I'm still on a quest for the "perfect" mascara though . . .
15This stuff is great! just got it at Sephora, I do a couple coats of this and then a volumizing mascara more at the root and you look like you have false lashes on.
