Unless you been living under a rock for the past few years, you've likely heard of Benefit's best-selling, award-winning lip and cheek stain called Benetint. This red rose-colored liquid creates a natural, healthy-looking flush to whatever it touches. Its popularity has spawned many other products like Pocket-Pal, a smaller version of the tint with a clear lip gloss, Posietint, a brighter and sheer pink tint and Benetint Lip Balm ($20) a deep pink, non-sticky and light lip balm that has recently been updated to include SPF 15.
I've been dying to check this out for ages, and this past weekend, I played around with the petite pot. The texture is delicate, smooth, ever-so-slightly waxy, but mostly creamy and refreshing. This has a lot do with the fact that it contains not only Vitamin E and other emollients but also real rose petals that give it a signature sweet and girly fragrance.
It can be worn alone (it looks way lighter on than the original tint does), or you can wear it over or under your favorite lipstick to make it appear more sheer. Lip balms are a great love of mine, and I'm happy to add this one to my list.

I bought one of these a few years ago, and I really love it. I have really dry lips, but it keeps them nice and crack free, and I LOVE the rose smell.
I have recently taken to wearing it on my cheeks as well as it gives a slightly dewyer, subtle finish than the original stain.

5I wish this was available in stick form - I don't like dipping my fingers into pots of lip stuff b/c of all the germs I accumulate on my hands from public transport! Though I know sticks aren't germ-free I feel like it's still less direct! The color looks lovely.
6I'm a total Benefit addict and I've never tried the lip balm. I own too many shades of red, anyway!
7I actually thought the rose smell was a little too much. I do like the color, but I never use it because I hate using pots, too much hassle and they always melt (I live in the desert).
8I LOVE Benetint lip balm! I use it almost daily! I love the PocketPal too!!! Benefit products rock! The color looks good on everyone, on every skin tone. If people don't want to use the balm, try PocketPal, it's fantastic!

10I really HATE the smell of roses for some reason - I find it stifling and sickening. Fortunately, I'm not a huge Benefit fan anyway, and it's not like I need more lip products!

12I'm addicted to BeneTint stain, and I also love this balm! Although I don't have the new, improved SPF 15 version. But I love the subtle rose color and soft shine that this balm gives. It's a great product.

16I have heard nothing but good about this but I don't like balm pots. I don't like sticking my finger in there. I would rather have a tube. Is that an option???
