Last night at the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 premiere, actress Amber Tamblyn looked sweetly fresh-faced. The makeup simply accentuates her beautiful skin and soft, smiling eyes — exactly what "natural-looking makeup" is supposed to do.
To find out which products Chanel makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua used to create this look, read more.
- FACE: To get Amber's smooth and creamy fair-medium fair skin, begin by applying Teint Innocence Natural Luminous Fluid Makeup SPF 12 in Gentle Ivory all over, and blend it to a flawless finish with a sponge or a brush.
- CHEEKS: Next, sweep a tawny-colored blush such as Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Tempting Beige on your cheekbones. Don't apply too much; you want the look to stay fresh. As a finishing touch, use a big fluffy brush or puff and dust a powder like Chanel's Poudre Cristalline Ultra-Fine Translucent Powder all over.
- EYES: Kara wanted all of the drama to be on Amber's eyes, so she began by lining them with Écriture de Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir and then added two coats of Inimitable Mascara in Noir. A few false eyelash pieces added extra flair.
- LIPS: Getting a full, creamy, natural-looking lip like this is easy. Simply apply a sheer rose-colored lipstick like Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lip Color in Darling.

5Gosh, what great makeup to sport!! Amber not only looks sweet but ethereal and glowing. Wish other starlets would take a cue and stop blasting their faces with a paint gun and soaking themselves in a tub of mystic tan..
