The 2008 Teen Choice Awards aired last night with Miley Cyrus as the host. So many of the stars turned out with stylish, yet age appropriate styles —Kristen Bell really rocked a cool hairstyle and Vanessa Hudgens amped it up with her dark liner.
So that's why, for last week's challenge, I asked you to bookmark beauty items that you think would stand out on the red carpet, but be suitable for a teenager. Coletta let us in on Principessa's lip balm, Bacio Me Tube ($12). According to her description, this sassy balm "makes lips soft and kissable."

When I see all those brightly colored palettes and shadow shades from Pop Beauty (and other brands), I always think they'd be perfect for teen girls. I would have loved them when I was that age!

1My girlfriend gave me an "inside scoop" about a new skin care line coming out for girls in the fall. It's called Glory for Girls and she said that it's all natural but still really cool.
