Need a date? Brooklyn's Beehive Salon keeps a notebook filled with Polaroids of single customers (after their hair is primped to perfection, of course) along with their responses to a brief questionnaire. Though the success rate is unknown, the receptionist tells me she's seen lots of desirable specimens flipping through. Hey, it's OK to look, right? (Or is it?)

LOL it sounds like it could be FUN. I would maybe try it if I were single right now.
sounds as good as any other way, to me.
I'll tell you why not! My former stylist wanted to hook me up with another client. He was cute and from a prominent, well-to-do family so she was sure he was a good catch. She gave him my number without my permission. After a week of daily phone conversations I told him I was going back to my ex just so he would quit calling. Smart move on my part! Not only was the dude a Scientologist (he spent the first call telling me all about his quest to achieve "clear" status and how much it cost him), but a couple of months later I saw his picture in the local newspaper in the Police Blotter section. He had been arrested for child molestation!! Ladies, pick your own men and trust your female intuition.
It's kind of random, but sure, I guess if I were single I'd let them.
Knowing the workings of a salon (my mother manages one), it seems like a good idea... the stylists get to know their clients really well and are usually spot on when matching people up... so I'd try it.
No way. Even if I was single, the only people I'd meet at my salon are gay men and middle aged women.
(Need to find a new salon.)
Totally. If I trust my stylist to make my hair beautiful I think I can trust him to set me up with a hottie!
I haven't had a bf in so long I'm open to anything.
I doubt I would.
If I went somewhere on a regular basis and I knew the people there and they knew me and what I wouldn't like, maybe.
too funny...i used to go to this salon. never got matched up though b/c i was already in a relationship. but i heard about this service.
I'd settle for a really great haircut
I suppose it's no different from any other dating service, right?? Kind of weird, but I'm sure there are many people who use it!
The beehive is a great salon. I dunno about Williamsburg guys, though
I'm not single, but if I was I don't know if i'd be open to this. It's kinda weird. But hey, it's seems like fun if others wanted to do it as long as they're careful.
...I taught my hair dressers step son, she is a lovely girl but I don't think I want her finding me a date.
no
I hate matchmaking and trust no guy no matter what
I think it's a cute idea.
