Wanna know the difference between looking good and looking great? Glad you asked. It's Revlon lipstick — or at least that's what this 1986 commercial would like you to believe. I'd say that it's tapping into that year's cultural zeitgeist, except, well, there wasn't a census in 1986. That's mildly odd, but what's truly strange are the arrogant, mildly crazed looks of all of the models. Not sure I'd rush out to buy these lipsticks due to this ad; would you?

I love how they apply the lipstick on already perfectly-made up lips.
i need a cup of coffee after watching that one.
Man, I couldn't focus on the lipstick. That one lady's earrings were just so obnoxious!
I like their neon blush. hehe
haha they don't make advertisements like that any more...
Oh my goodness. That was just not a good commercial.
They do look like they've had their Quaalude's, don't they?
I don't know about arrogant, but they definitely looked mildly crazed, especially the first one.
Man, I'm glad I cannot remember much of the 80's... I was a kid of the 90's. The models look crazy, but it's funny. Door knocker earrings and all..
Haha, I had that exact pair of gold doorknocker earrings in college! I remember wearing them to an REM concert and my earlobes were so sore afterward! And yes, I'm probably older than most of the other posters
