In the last few days, Jessica Szohr (that's Vanessa to you Gossip Girl fans) has been wearing her long black hair twisted in dreadlock-esque formations. (It doesn't seem like she's had long enough to actually perfect dreadlocks, which take months to cultivate). What do you think: sexy earth girl or just messy?

1I don't know. I like messy, piecy looks a lot, but she has such gorgeous curls. I hate when she straightens it!
2i think it takes a certain personality to pull off dreads..not sure she has "it"
3I think she looks cute here with it half pulled back - but i hated it yesterday when it was parted in the middle and covering her face (it looked like a caveman).
4The reason I hate it is because well they look faux...the textures don't match tacky tacky tacky!
5It looks like she stuck her finger in an electrical socket and then she attempted to fix it with her fingers.

8I agree with Swen. She should wear her curly locks more .Espcially since black women and biracial women with curly hair will be able to identify with her more. And, if she's going to wear locs, she needs to makeup her mind and go all the way. This half-ass isht isn't working.
9Is she biracial? Can't tell... hope so, cause white people just don't have the hair to pull of clean dreds! Their hair is smelly and gross when they try to do it cause they don't have enough natural oils.
10It could be pretty w/different jewelry and blush.. maybe a strappy dress instead of a tee... (and maybe wack 3-5" off)

18i think that these are a little messy to be honest. it's really hard to get to the good dreads phase unless you load your hair with product when they are first being 'cultivated' i think that this is NOT a good look - but i guess that some people like that ...right?
