Pimple-stopping devices are great — if you can afford to shell out the big bucks for them. In fact, in comparing Zeno to Thermaclear, one of my main complaints about the otherwise awesome Zeno was its price. Oh, but times have changed!
Zeno has recently released a smaller version of its zit-zapping device. The Zeno Mini ($89) is petite and portable, but it still helps stop pimples from forming. Aside from the lower price, it's great because it's powered by AAA batteries; the original Zeno needs to be charged, and there are times when it would be out of juice right when Krakatoa was about to erupt on my chin. Now all I have to do is pop in a battery and stop that bad mutha from getting any bigger. Plus, how much does the new design look like Eve from Wall-E? So cute, and much more budget-friendly!

yay! I will pick one up the next time I am in Sephora!
So does the mini work just as well as the original?? If so, why would anyone pay the 150 when they could get this!
Yep, Crystalm07. Same good stuff. The only downside is that you have to replace the treatment tips every 45 uses rather than 90, but the replacements are cheaper, too.
Wow, I would really like one. Is this good for those deep pimples under the skin or just white and black heads?
I've read a ton of reviews that say neither the original nor the mini work - at all. Sad, I'd love for something like this to exist and be effective.
Bellaressa, it's good for pimples you feel forming. Once they're out there, it doesn't help so much, but if you feel the deeper ones forming, it helps minimize them. Sometimes they don't even form. I use my Zeno whenever I get the monthlies or something deep, and it keeps them from getting way out of control.
the zeno didn't work for me at all, but it's cool that they have a cheaper version now.
I would love to have one of these on-hand for the occasional zit...I might try one!
I couldn't see how this would work for me either nothing does.
I'm getting one of these.
I got it off of amazon.com since my local Sephora AND sephora.com didn't have it yet. I've tried it once so we'll see how it works. I really wished Sephora had it the day I went in as I had one I wanted to use it on LOL!
I have the original one, and it doesn't work at all. If I can help anyone, its to not pay any amount for one of them because it never worked, not once for me.
$89?! Is it really worth it?
I think I am going to try it.
