New for Summer 2007, is Bobbi Brown's Surf and Sand Collection. These refreshing summer products consist of a light, ocean colored eye palette and three new sparkly lip gloss colors. Bobbi Brown feels "There's nothing more beautiful than a wash of shimmering aqua on eyes paired with a fresh pops of color on cheeks and lips." I totally agree - but then again, with a bit of a summer tan (GASP), I think that all makeup looks better!
Surf and Sand Eye Palette, $42, is a limited edition block of ten aqua, light pink, taupe, sea green and sand colored eye shadows. Each of the colors are pearlized, shimmery and soft. They are very wearable and can be worn individually or blended together.
The three new Shimmer Lip Glosses, $19, are made from the same, original high shine gloss formula we love from Bobbi Brown. They are also infused with vanilla so they smell fab. The colors are Pink Blossom, Warm Peach and Cocoa Bling. They look amazing with the new eye palette and a neutral to pink colored blush for an optimal fresh summer look.

the colors of the eye palette look good, but i have a feeling they are more like illuminating powders, and not so color intense...and all the colors will just look similar on skin

3I bought that eye palette in last year's edition and what was speculated is true. Every color looks like a sheer sheer sheer silver. Unless its been reformulated...
4These are gorgeous. With a lot of these kinds of colors, it's just a matter of using a good shadow base and layering on the color.
For us blue-eyed gals, I'd suggest using the browns and pinks above and keeping the aquas/blues/greens below the eyes to add a little extra punch. It's always worked for me!

5i have last year's addition and you have to wet them in order to get really really vibrant colors, but if you want some sheer shimmery washes, definitely get them!

8i know this post is old, but i just bought this on EBay and i wanted to see if anyone else reviewed it........ have to say, i ADORE the packaging (i love anything i can toss in my purse and that looks cute!), and the colors are sheer and girly. i'm going to try them wet tomorrow to see if they are more vibrant (should be), but now i want to buy every edition that i can get my hands on!!
