Very nice no-color mattifying primer that improves my skin's appearance and keeps makeup in place. It doesn't erase pores, but does minimize them. I use it alone or under makeup because either way, the results are noticeably favorable. PS- I don't think the first review is for this primer; perhaps Cargo's Suedeblush? |

I liked the bronzey tint of this primer. It felt a lot like Smashbox's product, but I didn't notice anything special in terms of mattifying. On the other hand, my makeup stayed on very well through four hours of tennis and more, so it clearly does its job. |

I know...I like you am usually a devotee to Smashbox Photofinish Light. I'm an oily girl with big pore tendencies. However, my wallet and my needs for bronzer caused me to step out of my comfort zone and into Cargo. I don't know if I'll be back. The Cargo primer that I purchased has a bronze tint which actually evens out my summertime slightly tanned complexion. The texture is verrrry similar to the photofinish and actually does what it says...MATTIFIES...for me that is the miracle. I can take a regular product that claims to matte oily skin and break that down to shine in 3 hrs outside. This challenger won the game. Its a failsafe product for me now; and after sunscreen, the only thing I wear on my face most days. |

Biggest deal breaker: it made me break out.
I loved the texture of the mattifier… it is very smooth (due to the silicone) and is very easy to apply. All of the blu-ray products are oil-free, so that’s definitely a plus. It is a brown-beige colour out of the tube, but goes on translucent.
As for keeping me matte all day (I’m oily in my T-zone by the days end)… I’d say it does a pretty good job.
