Somewhere over the years — I think it was during the high school days — I remember hearing that you can supposedly tell a person's handedness by looking at his or her thumbnail.
Hmm...curious. Whether it be an old wives' tale or has some scientific merit, tell me if this theory is true for you.
Compare your two thumbnails. Is one more squared-off at the base, particularly where your cuticle meets your lower nail bed? If so, does it correspond to your dominant hand or is this all a bunch of poppycock?

1at first - i thought oh mine are identical... but upon further scrutiny... my ever-so-slightly more sqauared base is on my left hand - but I'm right handed... so not for me...

4My left thumbnail is perfect looking. Actually...I've always thought my left had had prettier fingers and the more symmetrical nails and I'm right-handed.

7Mine are symmetrical, but I was a switched from lefty to righty in first grade (Catholic school, boooo.) Even so, the only thing I do righty is write, absolutely everything else from sports to painting is lefty. So maybe I'm a bit ambidextrous now?

18They're both pretty squared off looking, but my left hand does look more perfect than my right. I am left handed. So um... not sure?
