Let the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards games begin. First up is MTV's very own Lauren Conrad. Here Miss Conrad looks kissed by the California gods with perfectly tanned skin. Her makeup is just as stunning with rosy cheeks that have a slight sheen, and a pink pout that takes the shimmer up another notch. However, from a makeup perspective, it's all about her eyes. Her false lashes and dark liner really make her eyes pop. Of the whole look though, her hair is what I'm most excited about. The middle part and beautifully braided updo, is both youthful and elegant. That's a hard combo, and I think she pulled it off, do you?

Her hair is really pretty but I'm not liking the makeup. It's too plain and her lips look frosted to me. She really needs to mix up the makeup a little. Taking a risk is always better than wearing the same makeup all the time even if you get crap for it. You're bound to find something else that flatters.
