Expectant mom Ashlee Simpson wore basic black at this year's VMAs, and kept her makeup simple with a teal eyeliner and smooth hair. Since she's likely not coloring her hair at the moment, Ashlee had fun with length. A lot of length. She's definitely a candidate for our hair extensions quiz series. Better than recently, but the ends of her hair look- I don't know how to explain it- stringy and syrupy.

I don't think she looks like she even did anything with her hair, like style wise. I don't really like it. She just looks like everyday, nothing special
