2009 Golden Globe Awards: Elizabeth Banks

Actress Elizabeth Banks offers up a classic Hollywood style: glossy blonde hair swept mostly to one side and then feathered back and curled under.

She brings out the soft pink color of her dress by wearing similarly hued makeup tones and keeping the blush and lipstick light. The only darkness comes from the black eyeliner, but it's simple and chic. Do you think it works for her?

the make-up is lovely! i think her normal hair do looks really matronly, so i think this is like a nice 40s version of what she's got. i prefer this, i have to say. also, and maybe this is because i'm looking for myself, but wouldn't this be a nice look for a bride? i don't mean that in a bad way - it's just glowy, pretty yet quite natural-looking, but it's not too washed out .

She looks flawless. The necklace is GORGEOUS, as is her hair - the color, the style, the clip, everything. Her smile is gorgeous, and her skin looks perfect... Love it all.

I'm undecided on this look. The dress and makeup are little too prom circa 1983. I like the hair and the necklace. I think she would look better in stronger colors.
