2011 Fall Milan Fashion Week: The Makeup at Alberta Ferretti

'60s-Era Twiggy- and Goldie Hawn-Inspired Makeup at Alberta Ferretti

At Alberta Ferretti's show in Milan, makeup artist Lucia Pieroni used MAC products to create a '60s-era palette inspired by Twiggy and Goldie Hawn. In keeping with a minimal, natural finish, no foundation was used, just a bit of Moisturecover concealer ($17) where needed and Pro Sculpt Sculpting Powder on the cheekbones. For the eyes, Paint Pot in Groundwork ($17) was shaded on the crease and under the eye, a neutral pencil (MAC Pro Chromographic Pencil in NC15/NW20) was applied at the waterline, and Studio Finish Concealer ($17) was used to the eyelids. To round the eye out, Coffee eye pencil ($13) was applied for a Bambi effect. To finish, foundation was used to help tone down Snob lipstick ($15), an opaque bluish-pink hue.
