The allure of professional beauty supplies is hard to pass up. All those products, lines and colors you've never heard of! Industrial size bottles of Jean Nate! Aisles and aisles of nail polish, rhinestones, nail drying sprays that will probably kill your houseplants! And then there are the mannequin heads...

Manicure supplies are sooo much cheaper at beauty supply stores than they are at the drugstore. I also buy hair dryers, straighteners and curling irons since the quality is pretty good and they are relatively inexpensive.
The only professional product I have is a blush brush, to be perfectly honest... The rest is pretty much just the stuff I can find in drugstores.
sometimes but it only lotion and wax.
I randomly buy professional products. For the most part it's stuff for waxing or hair products. I think my blow dryer and one of my curling irons came from a beauty supply store too.
A friend of my uncle has several mannequins in his home. He takes pictures out of magazines (sometimes he snaps pictures of unsuspecting women in public to use instead) and pastes their faces onto the heads of the mannequins, then takes his own photos of the mannequins, develops them, and puts the prints in a photo album on his coffee table.
No...I've only been in a beauty supply store once in my life.
I buy pretty much everything but my hair dye at the beauty supply store. My best friends was a hair stylist in her house so I would always go to the store with her and look at all the stuff. Plus the amount of shampoo and conditioner I use its cheaper to buy the giant bottles there.
I buy Opi and Paul Mitchell...and that's about it.
OPI nail polish. And OMG the MAC Pro store - seriously. It is amazing. (Well, the NYC one, although I'd imagine that they're all pretty fantastic.) Other than that - there's not much I desperately need/want at beauty supply stores.
My friend is a hair stylist so I always get the professional huge bottles of shampoo and conditioner and then all the tonics and stuff. He gave me a hairdryer for my birthday that is ridiculous!
