The financial markets have taken a colossal tumble this week, and the week isn't over yet. So while my prudent and practical side is saving money, the daydreamer in me can't stop gazing at this Saks Fifth Avenue beauty exclusive: A Marc Jacobs Polished Face kit.
At $198, the leather clutch is a splurge, but it's fairly priced for what you get. Inside are full-sized versions of a Dior five-color eye shadow compact, Nars The Multiple, Yves Saint Laurent Touché Blush (read my review), Giorgio Armani lip gloss, Guerlain Le 2 mascara, and a hefty sample of Chanel Sublimage cream. Considering how pricey each of these beauty items are on their own, having the Marc clutch on top of it is gravy. If you're lucky enough to have an extra $200 to spend on beauty these days, you can't really go wrong with this kit. Just be sure to let us know if you pick it up, so we can admire it from afar while drinking in Paul Krugman's economic op-eds.

Oh how I wish I could buy this... d*mn I hate being broke,lol.
15i really like this and the products that are in the kit are soo perfect for me! i think that sometimes i choose to pass on beauty products when i'm in a financial crunch, but i kind of feel like this could be an ok splurge since there are a few great things included.
