Welcome to part two of Sexy Beach Hair in the City. You all seemed to have enjoyed the first installment so much, I thought that I'd bring you more! Here are three more fab hair products that can help create the sexy tousled waves that happen naturally at the beach. Please let me know what you think of them!
Alterna Hemp Sculpting Putty, $18, is a tad bit unconventional because it's not a spray, but I am telling you - this is the perfect product for a beachy, messy, texturized look. It adds shine while giving hair a pliable, piecey look. It also sculpts, molds and spikes if you are looking for something that you can use on many other looks too.
Made with powerful hemp seed oil, it's rich in proteins to really help restore your hair’s strength and moisture from the inside out. Just apply to wet or dry hair and style without the need of heat.
To find a salon nearby that sells this product, go to Alterna.com and type in your zip code. Enjoy!

Fekkai Summer Hair Beach Waves, $20, is a heat-activated spritz that helps create summer beachy looking waves. It also provides a UV shield to your hair and has a conditioning agent in it to keep it feeling soft and healthy.
Spray on dry or damp hair and then shape your waves by scrunching. Thanks for the suggestion quietriott!
Wella Liquid Hair Body Surf Beach Hair Styler, $16, is a non-aerosol spray that helps to add volume, body and a salty- texture to fine/normal hair. Work into dry or damp hair and then mold into waves using your fingers.

Garnier Fructis makes "surf hair" great product (use sparingly) and it's cheap!!! $2.99 at most stores.
1yeah, i use garnier fructis.
2Maybe I'm too traditional..but I like "city" hair in the city, and "beach" hair when I'm at the beach. The beach hair happens naturally then, and I don't have to use a bunch of gunky product either!
3yay! i got a shoutout!
4Has anyone tried the first two products? I want to buy one of them but am having trouble deciding...
5Bella I am so going to give your tips a try this weekend!
6Do any of these products keep the frizz down? I have natural beach hair...its wavy all the time, unless I straighten it, of course. But with that natural beach hair comes a lot of natural frizz. When I'm at the beach, my hair isn't pretty. It's just one big frizz ball. So, if these products also tame the frizz, that would be amazing. If not, are there any beach hair products that do?
I've been using Nick Chavez stuff which is great for keeping the frizz down--even though its not technically meant for that, but it tends to give my hair more of a curl. I need to find a product for more loose waves.
7I'm definitely going to have to try the Wella product because my hair is the definition of fine hair. Although I do love the $3 appeal of Garnier Fructis. Any of you that have used GF, is it a heavy product, or is it okay for fine hair?

8John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Waves Sea Spray Texturizing Styler is awesome, too, and NOT just for blondes. It smells yummy, like cocounut,
Ooh, I just looked and saw that it's discontinued, but you can find it on some sites and on eBay. I still have half a bottle left in my closet. Maybe I should cash in!
9guinevere the frederic fekkai one is amazing, definitely get that one and try it. it smells great too.
10Prissy- it is kinda gunky.that's why i emphasized to use sparingly.. but if you take a little bit and rub it in your hands then put on hair...it is awesome and gives hair lots of texture. I have fine hair and also sometimes even use it when i straighten! i love the hold and thickness it gives my 'do.
11oOoOoOo now I want to try either the Fekkai or Wella...hmmmmm
12Just ordered it, thanks quietriott!
13does anyone know if these will work for someone who has absolutly no natural wave to her hair at all? I'm talkin stick straight and soft hair that doesn't usually hold curl really well.
14bearbizzle nailed it!
15plus it smells great too!
